Except at 2am. And 3am. And 4, 5, and 6am. On the hour, every hour. We have an alarm cat* and it's cat o'clock.

Of course, she sleeps during the day.

They've already delayed its deployment to reconsider the feedback. - https://mastodon.social/@Mastodon/114709820512537821

Does it still count as drunk texting if you haven't been sober since the Bush presidency?

The only difference between the entertainment industry and the porn industry, is that in the porn industry the talent know they're going to get screwed.

She lives in a bubble. Same as Bolt, who also blamed the voters. They've removed themselves from the mainstream, and can't fathom the masses thinking fundamentally different from them.

Even a walloping with the clue stick, like what happened on Saturday, isn't enough to shake their faith that they're right. That's why they blame the media, the left, the immigrants, anyone but themselves.

You can read most of The Guardian without JavaScript.

As an alternative for both, try searXNG.

https://searx.space/ for instances.

https://github.com/searxng/searxng for the code, you can run your own instance.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SearXNG for the wikipedia article.

Personally, I find it returns much better results than anything currently available elsewhere. It reminds me of a time when search actually worked. Also, no ads and no tracking.

BTW, different instances can supply poorer results than others, so shop around to find the best one for you.

Dupliverts in 4.3? (aussie.zone)
submitted 1 year ago by skribe@aussie.zone to c/blender@lemmy.world

I'm trying to do something similar to this old tutorial (https://www.halfgaar.net/modelling-a-jet-engine), but the Prelude to modelling bit does something called dupliverts, which appears to be no longer part of Blender 4.3.

I tried an array (and applied it) but that gives me the blades as one object. How do I do this with the blades being separate objects?

Bicycles and kick scooters will be banned from footpaths that are next to cycling lanes from the fourth quarter of this year. They must stick to the cycling lane instead. Only personal mobility aids like motorised scooters will be allowed on these pedestrian-only paths. These will have a speed limit of 6 km/h by the end of next year. The Land Transport Authority says this is to keep paths safer for all, especially seniors and young children.
