No, that's not why iPhones users always have ringer turned off. Its because they usually have an Apple Watch (or other smartwatch like Garmin) that alerts them to incoming calls or notifications. Ringer is redundant and not necessary.

Its been that way for me and everyone i know for years now.

Well, being able to put app icons and widgets anywhere on the fucking home screen i want would make the iPhone leaps and bounds better than it is now. That one single change.

Use it everyday. Set to run a shortcut to turn on/off my living room lights. It has become my lazy go to light switch.

Yep. Same here. Pixel is what pushed me to iPhone years ago. I still long for the P8P but won’t consider spending a dime on a Pixel until the G5 since that will be made by TSMC.

Besides, most of their photo editing AI stuff they just announced will probably be coming to Google 1 anyway for all to use, even iOS peeps. Hell, we already have a bunch of it available to use through Google Photos.

The notch never would have happened. I mean, Steve obsessed over the perfect font. You think he would have given that thing the green light?

Just take the Reddit app for example. I just had the Pixel 8 Pro along with my iPhone 15 Pro. On the Pixel, the scrolling on the Reddit app was very stuttery and janky. Incredibly annoying. On the iPhone it is very smooth. That is just one example.

There is no back screen?

Reported for breaking r/iphone rules.

These “look what I got” posts are a cancer. Yeah, we know what the boxes/phones look like.

No imo. Compared to my Spigen Enzo Aramid and Dbrand Grip it makes the phone feel a lot thicker than it is. It is a more boxy feeling case. There is pretty much no lip protection for the screen (with screen protector on). I don't get the hype around it.

I returned it for a refund as they have a great return policy.

I actually did a test the other day between Siri and Google Assistant. Now preface this i utilize only Google Calendar. I have that connected so it imports into Apple Calendar.

I ask Siri when my next Ortho appt is. She tells me right away.

I ask Google Assistant when my Ortho appt is. It's like "I don't know what the fuck you are talking about".

I do the same but as when my next appt at the specfic office as i plug that in each time on my appts into Google Calendar. Again only Siri got it right.

Moral of the story, Siri might be dumb at some things but smart in others. And Google Assistant isn't the smartest thing either.
