There is a fucking chasm wider than the grand canyon between being left on the political spectrum and being a stalin apologist. And pretending that third parties in the US elections format don't act as spoilers and that is a liberal myth is either (a) just being really fucking stupid or (b) some tankie bullshit made by a person living in lala land.

See, I'm complex enough to acknowledge that the democrats kind of suck overall, having multiple parties would be better, but also accepting that given how the current system functions things can absolutely be worse if Trump wins again. Let us not forget that last time Stein implicitly supported Trump saying she like he won't be able to get anything done but Hillary is efficient and will likely make things worse. Stein is fully capable of pulling just enough votes that Trump could win. And last time that ended Roe v Wade. This time, say buh bye to assistance for Ukraine. He wanted to fuck up NATO before. I'm sure that'd be real high priority now.

The perfect is the enemy of the good. This is not how I'd like the world to be. But there is no magic wand and you can't just pretend things are totally different and think that has an effect.

Someone peaking out a door at soldiers with a small black object? Well I dunno. Why would soldiers ever shoot in such a situation...

Should've stayed with Larry.

I mean I was purchasing the expansions and the season pass. And on games that I feel I'll stick with for a while I even get some cosmetic stuff at times.

I doubt it is even a matter of them measuring the profit. I imagine that a lot of it is they (and many other gaas games that aren't pay to win) are trying to be the only game a person plays. To make them feel devoted to it. Like they would have wasted so much of they give up (sunk cost fallacy) and that by switching games they'll get behind in their main game. Because of they aren't profitable with a repeatedly paid game and season pass off of a person then they have some real bad management. In fact, me paying for a season pass and the expansions and using the server less should make me more profitable than most players except for the whales that buy all the cosmetics too. Especially when Fortnite and Warframe are f2p and profitable.

I don't stash guns in my briefcase so this wouldn't be an issue, but let us suppose I did and it was. Then if I made it to Hong Kong, I'd probably dismantle it, dispose of the pieces in separate places, and find out how to safely dispose of the bullets (because I'd hate to trash them and they get tossed into an incinerator and go off or something absurd like that).

I definitely wouldn't try to fly with it back, but I just don't know that I could trust authorities to act right.

So I left out that somewhere late in the movie she cut it off, but it was literally at the end of the last class (with her) and I couldn't remember what scene it was. I was thinking it was the man ass in the shower but that would've been to early. Now I remember she was heated after "let's beat these bitches" and ended it at "now that's a titty." But she said turn it off, I got up to do it because I didn't want her to take my tape. The bell rang. I grabbed my video and bolted out of the door. Did not see her again until next year.

And Hamas has a history of using human shields and suicide bombers. You'd put it past them to blow their own shit up and blame Israel?

Holy shit. You are correct and living up to your name. I didn't even know about that species. When I first saw your response I thought you were just fucking around and continuing the joke. Just looks a lot like the magpies that are plentiful in my area. But the grey versus white definitely sets them apart. Thanks sacredbirdman. Any other cool bird facts to share?

I also recommend befriending crows. And magpies.

Weird I can accept. Especially as we move into the future with this tech. I know people focus on the voice of actors being used forever, but I see something different happening. I imagine this tech getting used by deciding what they want an animated or cgi character to sound like, developing it then they can get whoever is cheapest to do the lines.

What device are you using? If it is a GBA then any game with a proper sleep mode. I think metroid zero, zelda minish cap, probably all the first party games really. If you are on something that has built in sleep mode, then I'm pretty big on the Sonic Advanced games for short play.

For older stuff, maybe ducktales since you will die within a minute or two anyway. Pokemon pinball and super mario bros are also good.

TLDR: I'd bet my pinky toe that they iterate on the switch.

I mean the reason that things didn't change much from NES to SNES is NES was successful. But in the SNES era, they got a ton of competition and there were no typical conventions for games. Then with the N64, they were jumping into the 3d world and that required some extra changes and Nintendo had some stable competition. Gamecube started having some of the newer conventions but kind of failed (thus why not make big changes?). So the Wii took a different route and made something very different and didn't get into the tflops race that the other consoles were doing. Wii was successful so why not iterate? Well bad advertising, naming, etc caused the WiiU to flop.

But at the same time, GB -> GBP -> GBC -> GBA all of which were backwards compatible. That is stability from 1989 to 2001. Then GBA -> DS had backwards compat, DS ->3DS same thing. And basically all of those handhelds were successful. So they combined those markets. Something more high end than a 3DS (which for people like me that didn't have one and didn't realize the quality of graphics on that thing, it's kind of huge to see what the switch offered as a handheld), but still portable. Something that can play modern games, but still be mobile.

So given their history, I imagine they have to iterate on the next console. Especially since they basically combined their handheld and console into one thing. And given that they will want to get people off of the switch, they need to give them a reason. They almost certainly aren't going to make something more powerful than a PS5 or Series X, so why would I get a stationary console that is less good and will have far less games? But give me another handheld console that can play even better games than TOTK and can maybe even play pokemon violet well... no we are talking. And honestly, people look at their console stuff out of context so often and think that Nintendo just tries crazy stuff. But really, they have just tried and failed at times, but had the money to keep on going. And also success in another area when something failed.
