If we had evolved around a red dwarf, would red be our white? And we'd have primary colors that make up red?

That's soft power for the country, he doesn't care what happens to the country

Toward what end? I don't think you're thinking this through.

You're absolutely right, but haven't I read that they're learning to lie about their presence in the manophere? So if it's, say 10% who actively think and act that way, plus 15% passively subject themselves to it without going all in, but who aren't really judging, that's 1/4 guys who I wouldn't risk a relationship with, many of whom are actively hiding their positions. I can see why it wouldn't be worth it to date any man. Especially for someone with her experiences.

And my IRL impression is that it's way more guys than 15% who intentionally expose themselves to it, and slightly more than 10% who fully buy into the misogyny.

He had very consistently been on the side of improving life for people. He's thinks that people deserve to eat and to have a place to live and to receive medical care. He thinks that the government should generally allow people to do what they want if it's not hurting others.

He had rarely deviated from that and to my knowledge has never deviated from that for Americans.

Subscribing to mastodon (programming.dev)
submitted 3 months ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

Given the different way they apps are structured I don't even know if it's a sensible question, but is there a way to subscribe to something on a Madison server?

The server as a community, or a tag as a community? Does mastodon have some other concept that I could subscribe to?

import down? (programming.dev)
submitted 3 months ago by [email protected] to c/[email protected]

I'd like to migrate to bookwyrm, but after I created my account I saw that imports from goodreads agent working right now. How long has it been down? Is it likely to get fixed soon?

It's so easy to use openjdk. I think the lesson is stop using oracle

I can't relate to either of these experiences but I am unreasonably invested in the answer.

But you might be able to snake the noodle and creature nonsensical comments that others could still breed

I have a 12-15 minute commute and it made a huge difference to me.

I have an extra 90 minutes each day because at lunch time I'm already where I want to be.

I was there for it. It was a lot like mine, but more optimistic

I was skeptical of gatherers ergonomics based on the jep, but this devoxx talk really makes them seem more approachable.

This is so hard because every one of his arguments is wrong, but the worst thing is that he's arguing this at all.

I once had to work with a government agency that insisted they generate and provide my private key.

Definitely voting for someone who doesn't support genocide for president. Down ballot I'll likely vote 3rd party as well, but I haven't decided for sure.
