its because it was staged asf, as some of the reddit sub discussed, the failure of the iran war and the epstein files really has trump grasping at straws.

plus karoline leavitt low-key said something about a shooting happening a few hours earlier.

this like 3rd staged attempt, 1st it was alleged assasination, followed by another attempt, and then this.

    Nah.

Things are definitely going to get interesting in the coming months and a false flag operation is absolutely on the table

However, I don't think they would bother with something this pathetic at this time. They weren't even shooting at the pres this time. This isn't going to rate a blip and no one will remember it when they go to vote in the mid terms.

Think more like the 9/11 attacks but with less regard for human life, human suffering, and something that will stoke hatred for years and decades. For example, a dirty bomb in California.

Edit: Sorry I've changed my mind. Earlier I was thinking the motivation would be Trump's popularity generally. However, if the motivation is to build the ballroom then that changes things significantly. It seems likely that this was staged to substantiate a claim that the ballroom is required for security reasons.

Yeah so much of this seems so weird. The USSS response compared to similar incidents with other presidents seemed so odd - they secured the VP first and that staged af picture of them in a very non-tactical stack in the lobby/hallway? The fact the shooter even got past a single layer of security with a shotgun?? And apparently was some kind of IDF supporter, has anyone confirmed that picture?

If it is staged, I wonder what genius thought to do this in a room literally filled with the world's leading investigative journalists and reporters lmao.

I don't know why people think this is indicative of a conspiracy lol. I know people that would get their money's worth in the middle of a warzone lol.

I'll be honest if I were him I'd be like "don't worry the guards'll get him" unless he was in the room. There's no way he was getting anywhere with that plan. Besides I'm probably not the target, if he does get by them I'll hit him with a "he went that-a-way" and slurp, honestly 70/30 I'll be fine.

I'd say that was reasonable. If you heard a lot more gunshots go off, and they seem to be slowly getting louder, then maybe worry... but that's sitting here in my comfortable chair a long ways away from any gunshots...

Lmao yeah staged or not, absolutely this. If he's some foreign correspondent those people don't even flinch at accurate artillery fire. Nothing but respect for war journalists, they're some hard mother fuckers.

"I'm here to mock presidents and eat food. And we're all out of presidents to mock, because he ran away."

    Edit: typo fix

Look, once I was at the mall grabbing food at the food court while my wife grabbed a table with our two kids. As I was heading to the table a crowd of people started running toward the food court screaming that there was a shooter (this was not too long after Parkland, which happened to be kind of close to the mall I was at). Huge mass of people diving under tables and all that. And I legit had the thought "what do I do with this Chick-fil-A? Do I drop it? Do I hide with it?" I mean it was expensive. And we're still hungry...

Anyway, I got to the table where my wife had the kids underneath and by then everything was quiet and I guess someone dropped something at a store, people were jumpy and thought it was a gun shot and the whole thing spiraled from there. Once everyone realized that there was no shooter, we all just... sat down and ate. It was weird. The USA is weird.

No point in being afraid for your life AND hungry. Best fix what you can

Weirdly relate to Kash Patel's girlfriend who stopped to grab a couple of bottles of champagne and wine before evacuating. I'd do the same. If the world's on fire, might as well dance before the flames.

That’s the thing. There weren’t gunshots. This was staged as fuck by dumpy to try to rescue some approval ratings. Fake as shit.

I think the answer we need is why there's no news about this on lemmy frontpage but only a meme.

This is the Mossad agent in charge of managing the Epstein clients, most of which were invited to that dinner.
