Round Lasagna? You are out of control. How do you slice it? like a pie?

[-] Goldholz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 23 points 1 month ago

The square tray broke while moving :(

[-] pohart@programming.dev 12 points 1 month ago

But where do you get the round noodles?

[-] plz1@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

If you're not using the ready-bake ones, you can just cut the par-cooked noodles to fit.

[-] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

if you're making your own pasta, you can just roll it into a ~~piecrust~~ round sheet.

[-] FooBarrington@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

I... I just snap the ready-bake ones into the right shape, like a person making stained glass windows

[-] plz1@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

I do the same thing

just cut the par-cooked noodles to fit

In that case, what do you do with the trimmings?

[-] Jimmycrackcrack@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 month ago

If you trimmed them to fit, most likely you'd have spaces around the circumference of the circular dish unfilled by pasta so you'd put the trimmings in there.

[-] plz1@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

Toss them in

[-] Kolanaki@pawb.social 7 points 1 month ago

Deconstruct it and eat it layer by layer.

This is the way.

Hell yeah, Italian meat pie.

I didn't know they let you make lasagna in a round dish. What's next, soup in a square pot?

[-] Reverendender@sh.itjust.works 10 points 1 month ago

You reported this violation, right?

What's next, soup in a square pot?

Hmm I'm on the fence here. Ramen is soup and soup is round. But ramen is also rectangle.

Lasagna is our new place tradition! It's always the first thing we make after moving..

[-] strangemath@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

Love that manager special trim on the back of the oven.

You can tell the landlord really cares about the tenants. At least it'll stop the roaches hiding down there.

And are you allowed to put an electrical wire that close to a cooking appliance?

[-] SaveTheTuaHawk@lemmy.ca 4 points 1 month ago

Round lasagna = Chicago Deep dish pizza.

[-] porcelainpitcher@lemmy.today 1 points 1 month ago

My first thought. Classic

[-] Goldholz@lemmy.blahaj.zone 1 points 1 month ago
