Yeah the car complains after a few months and runs the engine after a year, generally I go visit family once every other month or so and maybe use a gallon

When I lived in an apartment I used the standard 120V outlet to charge overnight, at some point I did add ~$40 to my rent to get a garage space and used that 120V outlet instead.

As a daily driver of a 19 volt I can confidently say I only buy gas if I go out of town. My standard driving never goes above the ~40 miles of full electric range.
