More than a dozen since 2020? Shit, I bet I've seen video documentation of more than a dozen incidents that deserve criminal charges this week.

I think a lot of U.S. politicians (as well as many civilians, frankly) are under the delusion that once Trump is out of office things will 'return to normal'. That may have been true after his first term, but the landscape has shifted seismically since then. Thanks to MAGA, in a single year the U.S. has shit the bed in virtually every category of former dominance, and has effectively ceded its leadership position on the world stage. Trust is gone, alliances have been broken, and if Newsom et al. really believe things will be 'business as usual' ever again, their delusion is showing.
Honestly, I was leaning toward "funny but probably fake" myself until I checked out OP's post history, which mentions "startups" and namedrops a few SaaS tools used heavily in marketing. If you've worked with marketers (or a fair few startup bros, honestly), you'll know this isn't beyond the bounds of reason for some of them 😂
OK sure "they're real" but said in a tongue-in-cheek manner and no follow-up from the 'journalist', LOL... Right on cue, another nothingburger that will keep the Art-Bell-Coast-to-Coast crowd occupied for another few decades while the billionaire class continues to build their empires.
The women say the policy could jeopardize the ability of Kappa to have current exemptions allowed under Title IX for single-sex organizations. The same argument failed to convince the judge in two cases brought by the women’s younger sorority sisters.

Terriers - excellent 2010 caper-style dramedy series starring Donal Logue and Michael Raymond-James, created by the screenwriter behind "Oceans Eleven". Relatable & endearing characters, compelling arcs, razor-sharp writing, wrapped in a noire detective plot set in sunny San Diego. Aired for just 13 eps on FX back in the day, only a couple of years before streaming platforms really hit big (and where it likely would have found its audience) and I've mourned "what could have been" ever since. Can't recommend it enough, despite the final ep having a bit of a "lady or the tiger" ending. I urge you to seek it out.
This fucking ghoul needs to be among the first in handcuffs when the prosecutions start.
Massie was and is extremely wrong about many issues IMO, but I'll be damned if his backbone on this hasn't given me some satisfaction. I guess being a bullheaded libertarian who sincerely believes in your principles can be an advantage when your naysayers are straight up hypocrites defending child-raping billionaires.
