Meanwhile most Americans who are forced to work full time with no paid vacation or healthcare instead go off and say, "I don't pay attention to politics, it's depressing. I'm just gonna work on myself," as they accept never being able to afford their dream vacation, their own home, or that new truck they desperately need.
The scariest part is that every American I know personally has no idea any of these ICE raids are even happening, let alone that they've started detaining judges and mayors or what that even implies. Americans are so dangerously uninformed.

Yeah but we need to stop occupying sidewalks and start occupying gated communities. The fact that protest organizers won't do this says everything you need to know about them - they prefer passive action that does nothing but maintain the status quo. I've been to over 100 protests everything from workers strikes to BLM to Occupy Wall St, and i've learned that occupying a sidewalk that the oligarchs don't walk on does nothing but make the cause look pathetic. We need to protest where the oligarchs will be afraid, anything less is just playing into their hands.
Because most supposed "centrists" don't really have a balanced centrist opinion at all. Most "centrists" seem to believe that being politically and socially uninformed is the most reasonable and intelligent take, saying "I'm not taking sides because I'm better than that" in a literal holier-than-thou sense of superiority, basically proud of their ignorance, who ends up doing more to hate on protestors and bend over backwards for the status quo. They're about as right-wing as it gets, just quieter and absolute absence of a spine.
