This is fucking stupid. If everyone had a million dollars to start people would still want their lawns mowed. And other people would still want more than a million dollars. So your neighbours arent going to pay $10000 dollars to not have to mow their lawn but they still would pay 20. Or maybe up to 100. Starting everyone off on an equal footing wouldnt just magically rause the value of everything, theres plenty of small business owners that make a million dollars and they don't just stop working.

I responded to this post in another comment with a somewhat related issue but i realized you might not see it without a notification. I also wanted to say thank you for such a great app and for being so incredibly timely in all your responses. Makes me proud to use a canadian lemmy app.

Pressing the back button on android from the inbox now seems to minimize the app as well, rather than returning to the last place in the feed. This can make it quite annoying to respond to incoming messages/comments as you then lose your position in the feed.

You're basically saying "not all Democrats" while admitting that the party leadership is rotten to the core, and no amount of head down, hard working, stay in line, lower level Dems is going to change that. Like obviously nobody thinks every Democrat is a terrible person. But the ones in charge, who make the decisions and influence the party priorities and values, are entirely bought and sold.
