I've just met a Israeli person in a cafe and we have talked about the genocide and linked matters. Of course, he said this is not a genocide and said killing Palestinian families, although terrible and not what he wants, is the only solution for them.

He is extremely brainwashed but also, open to discussion and he wanted to see the proofs of what I was telling him. I think he is not a lost hope, he is only 22 years old.

I am very bad with Lemmy and don't really know how to search it so I had a lot of trouble but I promised to send him the proofs.

Can you please help me wash his brain, by providing me proofs of (what he does not believe):

• deliberate killings/shootings of civilians and children
• IOF making civilian Israeli casualties. Maybe even at the Nova Festival or October 7
• Al Qassam not hiding in tunnels under hospitals and Palestinian homes
• Israel displacing people
• Israel expanding their territories and being a colonial state
• Palestinians having nothing against Jewish people
• Al Qassam not committing beheadings
• Any other thing you think is relevant

He may convince a few other people after that. He also thinks people have to come live in Israel because Jewish in the world are not safe to live elsewhere (this blew my mind) and that Muslim in any country would kill him if he tells them he is Jewish (what)

I've noticed recently (a couple of weeks) that searching for emoji via the search bar in the emoji panel seems now to be impossible in Google Board when the app does not have internet access (for privacy reasons).

The error message translates to "Emoji search data in unavailable". It only says this when my native language/keyboard layout is selected, not on US English QWERTY. There, search works as usual

Is it something already talked about? I do not want to enable internet connection on this app because of Google telemetry (I don't have GSF installed and use GrapheneOS)

EDIT: My personal conspiracy theory is that the Chinese government did engineer (or at least selectively cultivate) COVID, but not to kill Americans. In the early days of the pandemic there was some speculation that it affected some blood types more than others, particularly type A. While no link to blood type specifically was found, type A is a more common genetic trait as you move out of Asia and towards the middle east. China has been heavily persecuting the Uyghurs (Chinese Muslims), and those who have managed to get out of the camps have reported medical experimentation and being injected with unknown substances. In addition, the virus would also kill a significant number of the older population, which is important because of the population crunch they’re about to experience due to one-child policies resulting in a high amount of female-specific infanticide. They’re about to have a bunch of old people and a massive shortage of able bodied young people to care for them. Even if they didn’t directly “engineer” the virus in a gene-sequencing manner, they have a lot off motive to just generally cultivate and spread (you can’t really “breed” a virus) an infectious disease targeting people of middle eastern descent and elders.
