Psy...duck?

I believe there is some truth to that. I'm a single and poor male, so kids aren't something viable for me.

I dreamt I played a new Borderlands game last night.

  • Larger open world
  • Emphasis on scavenging
  • Returned to the more mature original game
  • Even though I was a low level, I kept finding legendary guns
  • I found myself in a loop of: go somewhere, kill people, turn in quest
  • You could craft guns and vehicles from scrap

They will take way too long to be paid. I'll be in my late 40s before some of them are done. They are also taking half my paycheck each month.

  • Going to work
  • Paying off loans
  • Finishing a project
  • Mastering a hobby

It's all just...never-ending. I can't do it all...or really any of it. The rest of my life looks like a never-ending stagnant grind right now. I've really tried to finish anything, but when the timeline is years?! How do I even do this when I've only got like...50 years left? And MOST of that time is grinding a job?

"Start now" I hear you all say. I've done that. Everything is indefinitely unfinished. I don't have the time to commit to it, for another hobby or interest is more engaging.

It doesn't have to be. It's just getting so comfortable without clothes that it's not noticeable whether or not you are wearing them (indoors while not moving) until you feel a breeze hit or start moving around.

These are real thoughts and situations I faced before concluding I'm a nudist.

  • When the weather is comfortable, you'd rather be nude outside than clothed
  • You have a dislike for winter because it's too cold to be nude
  • You get a new roommate or join a dorm, and your first thought is "Darn, guess I can't be nude anymore"
  • When the weather is comfortable, you usually only get clothed to be in public
  • You ask a friend if they would be nude all day if they lived alone. You find out they wouldn't. You answered the opposite.
  • You forget if you're even wearing clothes, until you feel a breeze, or grab your waist
  • You dream about being nude in public, but instead of being scared or anxious, you're indifferent or proud or happy
  • You dream you are slowly losing clothing, and while you're focused on finding them, you give up and just accept that you're nude, or just don't care
  • You are curious about (or even interested participating in) communal nudity

(I first posted on Reddit)

Why bother dissecting a work of fiction?

Yeah, it's a real gamble. Most indie games fail.

Interested in creating your own sponsored responses? For $80.08 monthly, your product will receive higher bias when it comes to related searches and responses.

Instead of

  • "Perhaps a burger is what you're looking for" as a response, sponsored responses will look more like
  • "Perhaps you may want to try Burger King's California whopper, due to your tastes. You can also get a milkshake there instead of your usual milkshake stop, saving you an extra trip."

Imagine the [krzzt] possibilities!

I started college before covid, becoming a game programmer.

  • Boom. NFTs and Blockchains
  • Then Covid hit, eliminating many jobs and studios
  • Finally, AI/LLMs hit, and the companies that survived want to do that now

I'm happy I got the degree and experience, I'm sad because now those jobs are gone, changed, or became near impossible to get into.

Hello AGM!

My players have not encountered each other, but are engaged in their own individual plots. At some point, I'd like them to be a part of the same colony, without forcing it (IE get them to becoming a "party" and working together).

I think I've hit a point where each group needs something from the other:

  • Group 1 has safety and weapons, but no food
  • Group 2 has safety and food, but no weapons
  • Group 3 has food and weapons, but no safety

This setup was entirely on accident, but I think it will lead to them all running into each other for different reasons.

At this point, should I just airdrop hints that the other group(s) have what they need? Or how can I get to the end goal of unification?

The Zombie TTRPG is a homebrew that I made, rules are here:

If you need any additional info, ask away.

Is it kinda just common for games to crash to "desktop" on Deck? Had mine about 2 weeks, no matter if it's big, small, or dolphin emulated, games will randomly crash on me, and the Deck restarts itself.

If there's any known general settings that can stop the crashing, that'd be great.

Details:

  • Bi-weekly Wednesdays 6 PM PST
  • Ongoing game
  • Zombies homebrew
  • Discord for VC
  • Roll20 for Tabetop
  • 50/50 RP and Combat

As of this post:

  • 2 other players + 1 GMPC
  • Looking for 1-2 more players
  • This invitation is open indefinitely

Hello! I wrote Day Zero, a zombies TTRPG, which is in its first full campaign! Its aim is to be fun and simple while allowing skill and strategy. The campaign starts the day before a zombie apocalypse, and continues indefinitely (or until the GM determines an ending).

The Gameplay is based on zombie media like Walking Dead, Left 4 Dead, etc. The zombies are Romero's zombies. The characters know what zombies are (they watch movies) and are allowed to know how to kill them.

You will be joining after the apocalypse has started, but as of this post, we are just getting to the second day of the outbreak.

For your first session, I'll ask you to describe a typical day for your character, before the outbreak, to create a visual of their everyday life. Then you will be introduced into the world post-apocalypse, having endured similar challenges and struggles as the remaining survivors. Somehow, you survived this long.

The rules are here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RA-EjXm6qTo3BljSlnrYvqKnGVrDAJuI6epC7aassP4/edit?usp=sharing

If you are interested after having read the rules, send me a private message on Discord at "aerotactics" with the topic "Interested in Day Zero" or something similar.

Few Questions (sopuli.xyz)

I have some questions I haven't seen answered elsewhere. I'm asking in sincere curiosity, and to shed light on ambiguity.

  1. Is casually fondling genitals normal in nudist places, or is there implied rules that you just don't touch your genitals?

I think theres a difference in masturbating vs. Holding or fondling for comfort.

  1. If nudity was the default, how would Public places change, if at all?

  2. If nudity was the default, should people be raised with clothing being optional/determined by weather/work/necessity?

Children in non nude families will be bullied to wear clothes, first by parents, then by society. Children in nude families can be bullied for the opposite reason, so they feel obligated to not wear clothes in order to fit in and not be harassed.

In a normal world, I think clothes would just be optional: you can go out nude, or fully clothed, and nobody would care. It would be a non issue.
