Fact is, current software licensing laws needs to change. Doesn’t matter whether I own a physical copy or a digital copy, a company shouldn’t be able to decide that I can’t access the product I paid for anymore.

Sadly most police in high-urban areas are moving to encrypted radio so for anyone living near bigger populations they might not get as much use out of it. Personally I usually only get some backup frequencies and maybe sheriff dispatch or fire department, otherwise most emergency services are switching to the same system (high-band Motorola networks) for ‘disaster preparedness’. I still encourage people to check of course and if you’re anywhere else you definitely should be able to listen in on local comms.
If you intimidate strangers for any reason full stop you’re a thug. The guise of “pranks” doesn’t excuse menacing behavior

Kinda hard to convince people suicide is caused by owning a firearm and not, you know, the reasons they committed suicide. Once again pointing societal issues as simply “not enough restrictions”, assuming that’ll fix anything. Waste of time.
It’s just like socialism; great concept, but impossible to perfectly implement. That said, I’d still prefer a system where I maintain independence and freedom than any alternative since humans are inherently are own largest problems.
I’m sorry but anyone who thinks we’re actually in a free capitalist system is delusional. The freedom is a lie they sell us to perpetuate the system.
