Yeah but it's too realistic, I want something convenient! Let me read one book and gain the power to create floating ice! Not read like 5 giant books and stufy for years so that I can create a microwave 😔

No shade to microwaves, one of my favorite magic items

"Feel" nice trick to make it sound like they are spoiled and not just doing basic math to figure out that everything is expensive.

You can train an LLM to generate 1:1 copies

The logic of vance meme to strip search is quite a convoluted mess.

Check out my new site TheAIBay, you search for content and an LLM that was trained on reproducing it gives it to you, a small hash check is used to validate accuracy. It is now legal.

Considering that pH plays a major role in teeth health and acid-reflux, two things that a significant portion of the population suffers from and can dramatically reduce quality of life, shouldn't the pH of a food item be just as important as nutritional values?

I can just imagine Michael in the conference instead calling oscar just asking ChatGPT "give me a 45 points plan, one point per day, to save dunder mifflin from bankruptcy"

And so many stupid out of context facts that Michael will say throughout the series as "facts" that he researched.

Or the episode with china where they would just give him some airpods and chatgpt in his pocket and at somepoint he would be like "As an AI assistant" and Oscar would just leave XD

I have recently gotten a lot of criticism on my views on the Palestine-Israel situation, I'm now trying to learn more to have a more accurate and holistic perspective. So my question is how accurate is that video?

I commented the following on this post problem is not Netanyahu, it is not Ben Gvir. it is the white supremacist mindset of Israeli public.

This is not new, extremists gain power, they are then making everything they can to stay in power while they slowly turn anyone they can to their side. They use the education system, political systems, laws and the media. Considering that Netanyahu has been in power since 2009 he has literally shaped the political and moral ideology of a significant part of the population. Imagine being 10 yo at 2009, by the time you van vote all you ever knew was Netanyahu. At the end of the day, an adult that is calling for genocide is responsible for their opinions and actions, but this is how a situation where a majority of a country if genocidal happens, with slow, steady and intentional manipulation of the public. Netanyahu and his terrorist goons ARE the problem, but at this point removing them from power is just a small part of the solution. As a kid I always wandered how people can truly think a genocide is a good idea, as an adult I am sad to see that it really is that easy, it really can start with just the wrong people gaining power. And just to be fair, this is very much true about Palestine as well. While the situation is completely different, they too have been under a genocidal and terroristic regime since 2006 and many (probably most) would answer similarly to such a questionnaire about Israelis and Jews. Of course Palestine have had the short end of the stick for all of those years while Israel got to become a developed country. It's just sad to see how the people in power just fuck everyone around them, no one wins, no one is happy, all you get is death, hate and destruction, and of course the reason for all of this: Money, religion, power.

I don't know how to check who the mod was but it seems that they are removing plenty of content, some of which seems to be content that just doesn't support a black and white view of the situation where Palestinians are the only victims and Israelis are all evil (not excusing genocide here)

And the weird thing is that rule one has nothing to do with the comment:

I understand that it is a switch to connect the battery to the sarter. But why not just make the ignition switch the actual switch?

Is it because the amps are high so the switch would be too big to comfortably use? Because if that is the case, wouldn't a simple mechanical solution be better?

Title is a bit much so let me explain.

The world has all kinds of terrible things that the individual can do basically nothing about. Luckily, for most of us it has no direct impact and we are able to ignore the painful reality. But what if you were in a situation where it did impact you? In a way that is part of your everyday. What if for years you are struggling with the internal conflict of "there is nothing I can do about it" and "I can't continue like this"?

As for the drugs, I specifically mean weed and specifically for the days where I find it too hard to ignore. I find myself thinking that if I get high I will have an easier time ignoring the pain and doing something good like cleaning or working.

Notes:

  • Don't bother with telling me that even the individual has the power to make great changes, I believe it and I'm doing my best, but I am also aware of the fact that this situation will not be changed in my lifetime probably.
  • I'm not suicidal, I don't harm myself and while I can tell that lately I have been using weed too much, I don't think I am abusing it. I'm logging my usage and I review it weekly, If it get's out of hand I will know (I think)
  • I'm mostly asking about using external stimulation as a form of escapism
  • Yes, I need therapy, sadly it is expensive. Yes I am looking for options.

EDIT: Thanks to all of the replies, I have read them all but I don't want to respond to all of them. I think this post helped, so thank you!

If you have a tub full of water and a take a sip, you still have a tub full of water. Therefore only drink in small sips and you will have infinite water.

Water shortage is a scam.

More photos in the comments. Is it supposed to be connected to the motherboard? I found it in the case. It wasn't connected. I think that the backside is some sort of thermal patch. I can tell that it's not a camera but I'm very confused and the connection reminds me of more of a laptop or phone connection not something you would see in a PC. The data matrix contains the same text as the white sticker.

I think this is the ultimate red line that the US crossed from a democracy to a fascist authoritarian country. Here are my points:

  • Trump is a known criminal who encouraged a terrorist attack against the government and government officials. The fact that he was not only free of punishment but also legible for running as president shows that the democracy was already extremely vulnerable to a hostile takeover.
  • Trump before that has repeatedly tried to convince the public that the election he lost was rigged, this is a blatant attempt to hurt the government and derail the people twoards an insurrection. At the very least he should have been investigated for conspiracy against the government (If he was muslim he would have been fucking assassinated as a terrorist already)
  • The insertion of an unelected and unqualified person into the government and letting him run around and fuck with confidential and extremely sensitive systems and data (Elon) is something that should have been stopped way before he was able to start gutting public services.
  • Trump did a pump and dump on NFTs, meme coins, and most recently the literal US economy. He is not even investigated for securitys fraud.

And now the really really bad things:

  • Deported legal residents without due process and with secret "evidence" that no one is willing to share past "terrorism and national security"
  • Ignored the supreme court and deported innocent people to a literal concentration camp. This is the 101 of a democracy being shattered, the authority ignoring the law and the police (ICE in this case) listening to the authority and not the law.
  • Has now publicly and shamelessly announced that legal, US born citizens are next. This is past illegal, this unconstitutional and is the very thing the founders of the USA had in mind when writing the constitution.

And all of this without mentioning Trump as a private person being a convicted felon, rapist and a failure of a businessman to a degree that any sane person wouldn't let him run a fucking easy-bake oven bakery.

So, am I crazy or did we just witness the actual moment that historians would label as the fall of the US democracy?

All things considered, it has only been about 3 months since Trump took office, I feel like there is absolutely no way that this was just a single craze and from here things will even out.

I feel like until 2028 (or maybe 2026?) S&P 500 is going to look like a roller coaster.

What do you think?

I wonder if (assuming things get better) future generations would be like "I hate this boring and lifeless AI art that we have today, I wish I was born in the 2010s!" Or will the shit show that has been going for the last few years be so vivid that they would be happy not to have been born now.

Kinda like how it can be fun to imagine being born as a boomer and working casually while living luxuriously, but not so much to imagine being born in 1920s and going through WWII as a soldier

Or maybe they will also yearn to be boomers lol

Up to 10 years is crazy. Sure, what he did was wrong, planned and malicious, and they claim it cost them tens of thousands of dollars. But 10 years? This is crazy for something that at worst would be a yearly salary of a single employee.

Fucking capitalism.

"We have to let you go as from our analysis you do mostly nothing, mr senior engineer"

1 week later everything is crashing and no one knows why

Ah yes, the classic evaluation of stupid shit that ends up shooting the company in the foot.
