It's a progesterin, a variant of the same chemical.(I think)

it's still 700 comments by tuesday. That's more than we got in a week a few weeks back. It's still so big to me. My "normal" was anchored at like 400 comments a week.

almost happy that the abysmal availability here has made that decision for me. No way to get anywhere means no energy has to be put into it.

What is the current state of the diy electro kit? The post isn't pinned anymore. It is a really cool project.

Arranged a consultation for facial hair removal, because right now I have money I can spend, and I don't know when that'll next be the case. The provider also explicitly talks about trans women on their website, so I hope that they will be good. I really fucking hate my facial hair and beard shadow, glad to hopefully see it gone soon.

You could look into what kind of caps exist, you are certainly not the only curly haired person with very long hair.

Looked it up, jumbo nightcaps exist.

About the tangles: I always brush in the shower with conditioner in my hair, never dry, because it would be very annoying and painful, because of tangles. Thanks to my hairtype you don't see them anyway, so I don't need to wash everyday.

Being trans is really nice, I don't get all that anxiety over egg-jokes. So weird.

If you tie them up, in a braid, or bun overnight they keep longer. Sleeping cap is the ideal solution, but requires a sleeping cap. Just don't sleep with open hair.

I also like putting some oil into them overnight, but ymmv.

Yeah, I'll treat it like voice training. Do at least a little bit every day

Tried out eyeliner for the first time, I liked it, but I really need some practice. Probably gonna apply some each evening before I wash my face. If I had the space for it, I would like to start practicing makeup in general. A good skill to have for a trans girl.

Unlucky, being trans is great. Boss should be thankful for the opportunity.

I am still very early in this whole process, and there is still a lot of self doubt, so I am reading a lot of literature on "Am I trans" and dysphoria.

One concept that people often like to propose in these ressources is the button that makes you the opposite gender, and, crucially, also makes everyone else believe that you have been that way forever.

I don't really like this, because my time as a boy/man is part of who I am. I would not be me without it, and despite all of the problems I had and have due to my gender, it is still part of who I am. I fought through all of this and worked to find out who I want to be by myself. I wouldn't wanna be cis, and I also don't want to cease being the me born out of this struggle.

I went into a cinema fully expecting to watch some russian or kyrgyz movie(which would also have been great), but when I arrived the guy just told me to choose my movie on a streaming site. It's even in english. And I have a private room.

As the title says, the mainboard of my phone broke and repairing it would cost more than a new one. Does anyone have any recommendations? I'd like to be able to change the battery, if possible. Thanks for any help in advance.

As the title says, it used to be my favourite podcast. I really enjoyed the deep dives about companies, their history, their impact and the people behind them. Does anyone know anything like that? Thanks in advance for any help.

Also one of the hosts used to post here, which is how I found it. If he reads this: Thanks for the podcast.

Thanks to the comrade /u/nohaybanda , who told me I should go out anyway even if i did not find anything. Was fun and relaxing. Met some nice old ladies who were much better at foraging than I am.

I am going to put the parasol in a panade and fry them in fat.

For those not speaking german:

The Headline means:

Being honest means admitting: We have imported antisemitism

The rest of the post is about how immigration from muslim countries and "radical-islam" are to blame for anti-semitism in the country.

This is supposed to be most leftwing party in this cursed country.

:germany-cool: :agony-acid:

Here's a german podcast talking about how horrible germany is with israel.

for example all time greats are:

Intersectionality is opposed Marxism

Queer Theory is opposed to Marxism

Postmodernism is opposed to Marxism

Postcolonialism is opposed to Marxism

Feminism is opposed to Marxism

Identity politics exists because of Stalinism

it's all just shit like that, they seem to fundamentaly oppose any theory after Lenin.

I've tried arguing wih them for example about Intersectionslity, but they just say that it can't incorporate class because then they wouldn't need to use it anymore because it is the only thing that matters.

all reform is useless because it doesn't remove capitalism(black liberation, lgbt+ liberation?)

They now try to explain foucault and described him as anti-marxist.(turns out that's true)

"Queer Theorie says it is reactionary to be cis." "intersectionality leads to infighting about who is the most opressed"

They use postmodernism and idealism as some kind of slurs for ideas and all of the above is idealist, only the material ever matters. Idealism is petit-burgoise, post-modern nonsense

Also they are explicitly anti-pluralist in their organisation and don't want to do anything except growing by recruiting students. Like I can't even convince them to go help the foodbank.

Because these people(at hte foodbank) are apparently too pre-occupied with survuval to educate themselves about marxism. So any energy on them is wasted. They can't be useful as activists and we must grow first before we can help people. (which is a shit reason)

They also say shit like that all opression is based on class, and that intersectionality splits the working class and should be avoided. That privileges don't exist because you can't make individuals responsible for opression because it all comes from above.

This video explains what is happening here. It's their exact points.

They only ever go somewehere to hand out flyers, not for support. (one guy actually said we couldn't go to the foodbank beecause we would have to do work there and couldn't just hand out flyers)

I don't know if still have the energy to fight against this bullshit and I've read some more about intersectionality but, they've "indoctrinated" themselves about this shit for years and i am not making any progress. It makes me angry and tired.

It's basically lumpenproletariat the manga, now also with some anti-colonianism.

I just argued with a friend about his class reductionism and noticed that I need to read more theory.

And as this Problem seems to be pretty big in the left of the global north. I thought it would be useful to have collection of texts about the issue. I also think adding a folder about this topic to the theory collection would be nice.

Thanks in advance, i did not have much luck finding stuff by myself.
