Apparently it can be fixed by turning the game while offline, and then turning online ingame, since it's an issue with Steam servers/overlay. I just played offline the whole time last time I played, but obviously it's not ideal.
Assuming that Valve won't be forced to charge like $1100 because of all the shortage BS, does this mean Steam Machine is looking better?
Yeah, I kind of get him. I only know English and not Japanese, but I swear for every other localised game I like, the discussion is "look at how ass this localisation is, they added a Spongebob reference, the characters sound more sexual to spell out the jokes"
And I don't even know which side I stand on, because I like some national jokes in Polish translations, but then also got ticked off the other day when I saw very slight, unharmful word changes in Slay the Princess. (coldly beautiful -> exceptionally beautiful, and because it'd be hard to translate coldly anyways)
To be fair, if DLSS5 is optional (I hope so), they are asking you if you want the condiment.
The condiment is a shitty mayo, and they did take initative (which an average person will mindlessly accept), but they did ask.
"QUIT HAVING FUN"
If they weren't, they wouldn't be looking for a cure, now would they?

After finally getting a pay raise and trying Switch 2, the size is pretty subjective. I appreciate SD's bigger size giving not only a better controller grip, but also actually good speakers.
Doing Fire Emblem soft Ironmans (not reloading when a unit permadies) made me love the series even more, it went from "ughhhh do I really have to move on without this guy? This sucks, what if I'm underpowered later" to "I lost 40 people and died for the first time at the penultimate map, this is a beautiful, sorrowful story".
I now let a unit or two die even when playing for the first time, because it basically adds your own personal death scenes to the story. I will always pay respects to wolf boy who died to make that one final push happen, or respect the axe bro who went through his Kratos arc with a dead wife, kid and second dead wife.

People seem to be confused about why they thought this is a good idea, but to me this is expected.
I don't follow what Miyamoto does much, but based on what I heard (like Chris Pratt Mario...) I feel he's a showoff who probably wants ANY live-action movie of a Nintendo IP because it'd be cool. Zelda is the best one to qualify, maybe Metroid or Xenoblade (both of which are way less popular). They even tried more realism back with Twilight Princess.
I actually expect it'll be more or less like the Mario movie again, an unimpressive but solid success.
