One downfall of what I only hesitantly refer to as modern feminism (although really I'm talking about terfs and the terf-adjacent) is that it has painted men as dangerous by default. I'm also a trans woman so I've seen both sides of the coin, too... I do feel less safe now, this is true. Many things were easier when I was living as a man. But I was never dangerous or an abuser.

Nonetheless, a former partner used accusations of abuse against me and turned so many people on me. The only ones that stuck by me were former romantic partners, who knew the accusations couldn't have been true. For everyone else, it was so easy to accept that a man - even a clearly gentle one - would be an abuser.

In reality I've been a victim of abuse - physical, emotional, sexual... All long before I transitioned.

A boring office job is an awful fate, we should bring that perception back!

A girl once asked my friend and I if she could make us an omelette. We'd never met her before, but said yeah why not. We went back to our flat, like 1AM, she made us an omelette and then left. Never saw her again. Bizarre. Good omelette though.

As is, once a post is solved it's revealed in the name, but this means you can't then try to guess already solved posts - only new ones. If we reveal the answer in a spoiler in the post body instead, the sub's historical posts will remain playable for new players to practice.

I was fully ready to accept that was an image of a bearded lesbian who I hadn't yet heard of.

The only reason this has blown up is because she threatened that tracker with legal action. It's the Streisand effect 100%. The same shit happend when Elon Musk shut down the account that was tracking him.

The thumbnail image is hilarious. Quintessentially AI - some of the details are so impressive! But then... Backwards thumb stick mouse! The cable is in three pieces lol (or maybe the thumb stick mouse needs several adapters in a row)... Nonsensical single speaker? Squared heart shape mouse mat opposite the "mouse"?? Hang on why are there two pc towers? It just keeps getting worse and worse the longer you look at it lmao

Mutual aid, in other words.

Of course there is some parking, but there is no need for a dedicated car park for this market. Many of these people will have come on foot or by public transport, that isn't a lie at all. Public transport in Germany isn't exactly a model to follow imo (I was surprised, I expected it to be down to an art tbh), but like most of Europe the cities are walkable and at least have some form of public transport system.

The idea that population numbers are all it takes is so stupid. Mozart is not just one guy who was really good at writing music. I mean, obviously, he literally was, but he only existed and wrote what he did in the way he did because of not only his own "genius" but also the circumstances he was raised in, his education, the musical traditions that he drew from, the fact that he was wealthy and had time... Etc etc.

Adding more people living in poverty, with poor education, no connection to musical or artistic tradition, and no time... Will not add more Mozarts.

Tricky to explain exactly. Sometimes the comment button goes straight to adding a new comment rather than the post's comments. To reach the comments I have to press it again. But because it's not consistent sometimes I have to press it several times to reach the actual comments.
