On this day in 1970, a spontaneous uprising against U.S. military occupation broke out in Koza, Okinawa, Japan after an American drunk driver struck a local pedestrian. Approximately 60 Americans and 27 Okinawans were injured, and dozens of cars with American license plates were torched.

Following Japan's defeat in World War II, the country was occupied by Allied forces and governed under martial law. While most of Japan regained its independence in April 1952, the Okinawa Prefecture was to remain under U.S. military occupation for another twenty years.

Prior to the events of December 20th, three Americans had been acquitted via court martial after striking and killing an Okinawa civilian. This incident fueled the growing discontent of Okinawans with the standard status of forces that exempted U.S. servicemen from Okinawan justice.

On December 20th, 1970, a drunk U.S. serviceman struck an Okinawan pedestrian in the city of Koza. A crowd quickly surrounded the car and the policemen who had arrived, demanding that this incident not also be swept under the rug.

When American MPs arrived and attempted to pull the driver away, the protest turned violent, with thousands gathering to try to prevent the driver from leaving. By the end of the night, dozens of cars with American license plates had been torched and approximately 60 Americans and 27 Okinawans had been injured.

Finally fell to temptation and used a bot that a friend made to replicate their OC
It sucks because the platform they did it in is utter doo doo garbage, all of the bots are programmed to be horny no matter what so you can't like roleplay anything else except that
BUT everything horny is automatically censored, so even if you ARE horny you can't do that, either
So the bots are literally only useful if you make a bot with the personality of "never has sex, ever, is never horny, has no other personality than this they just are never horny" and then use them as a Bonzi Buddy

Keqing (Chinese: 刻晴 Kèqíng) is a playable Electro character in Genshin Impact.

As the Yuheng of the Liyue Qixing, she is someone who seeks her own answers instead of idly letting chaos run amok in Liyue. She chooses her own path with her own power and ability, instead of letting the gods determine her fate.

time for Parasocial Gossip Hour

so the Trashfuture gang has been weird about China to varying degrees; Alice is a left-anticommunist about it, Milo occasionally repeats silly stories from the British press, Hussein is on the podcast sometimes (dunno, if he's actually said anything on the subject :shrug)

But I notice Riley is always quite whenever it comes up. Almost tactically quiet. He seems to have the most developed understanding of theory, is usually the one to broaden the scope with interesting and insightful analysis, and is the force responsible for keeping the show a real show and not WTYP-esk barstool conversation. To my memory, he's never actually said anything on China - or most AES states, come to think of it. Thoughts and gossip, Hexbear?

He seems to always quickly change the subject, so I agree with your take. Think he's to the left of his cohost on AES states, but doesn't want to stir office drama.

I am unironically hoping Donald Trump wins. The US has 2 pro genocide parties. Maybe we can bring that down to one
