I have never seen any of the content you are talking about on YouTube. My "front page" is mostly movie essays, music production, some standup comedy, and tech reviews mainly from GamersNexus. I'll agree the comments can be ass sometimes but that's also dependent on the size of the channel and content of the video. Just out of curiosity do you have an account and subscribe to channels?
Got any good recs for movie production channels?
YouTube is justba firehose of nazi propaganda and needs to be destroyed.
very often I'm searching for some random shit like woodworking tools or joints or whatever, and if I browse just a little bit further than the first 10-20 results, the algorithm starts showing me videos of acne removal with very graphic and gross thumbnails, it's fucking ridiculous
it happens more often if the topic I'm searching for is somewhat obscure, it's like youtube has run out of relevant results and now it's only trying to serve me "satisfying" dr. pimple popper videos
I still remember searching regular-ass Google for options for eczema remedies and getting a bunch of YouTube videos in the results that were basically dry scalp scraping ASMR. At least now I know I have a fetish porn career to fall back on if this whole IT thing doesn't work out
Both places have such reactionary cultures. It irritates me more to see Prager U ads on YouTube though. The new gambling ads on Reddit are giving them a run for their money.
Any ways to get better search results for YouTube searches these days? Or just group subscriptions?
I inexplicable get Sky "News" from br*tain on my feed and the only reason I keep it is because I'm morbidly fascinated by the extreme racist gammon energy radiating from every comment section.
if you read youtube comments you deserve the cancer it gives you
Death to America

Minor nitpick, I don't think Chickens have a concept of "gender".
As a waifu-pilled animecel, the only thing my algorithm gives me is vtuber clips and abridged anime parodies.
Life's good.
Youtube is 100x better than reddit for the simple fact that it's not solely inhabited by angloids (or even whites in general)
Redpill youtube is hell. Blackpill youtube has no analogies in mythology for the type of misery it is.
I think they're equally as awful, they have so much racism, it's actually astounding. Following that it's probably on par with Twitter now, then Instagram comment sections, then tiktok.
Counterpoint YouTube has boyboy and ididathing
I find that YouTube is a least gives you decent curation.
I have my stuff pretty well done and make sure to hit not interested on channels called "Billionaire One minute Mindset" and report it as hate speech.
Occasionally when one of the couple of reaction YouTuber I watch (Serfs, Kavernacles, and Bad Empanada, with Penguinz0 thrown in so I know what the normies are thinkings) gets caught by the culture war machine, I'll get shitty Daily Wire content recommended to me for a few days after.
Right now it always wants to make me watch H bomber Guys "Deus Ex is Fine" video.
wait you can get gore on youtube?? all i'm getting is morons trying to make me a trad cath or a bircherite.
To be honest, there are a number of channels I've been following for years, some for well over a decade that are just cute, wholesome places with nothing but good vibes.
Going to any of the recommended vids, trending, politicks, or drama channels, or really just random videos at all is just asking for mental death. The only good places are the curated communities.
Some of the worst comments I have seen are on Instagram. Not as right wing as YouTube comments (still very racist though) but lots of incredibly mean mean comments.
