Who downvoted this??? WHY? This is actually a good thing, previously you couldn't have a trans flag in your display name.
It might've been a bug? I've had mine for many months
No. It ""wasn't"" a bug. It's just not always existed. So it used to be that one could, then specific unicode letters were forbidden, one of them being part of the trans flag, now one can again since I fixed this back in October.

Are there known issues with Lemmy 0.19 on the Jerboa app? I just updated to the latest 0.0.53 (no idea which version I was previously on) and I can't log in. I get some strange error basically saying that it can't find a custom emoji keyboard.
I will also open an issue on the Jerboa repo.
Edit: It's fixed! Update to Jerboa 0.0.54

Sometimes I use Eternity (fork of Infinity for Reddit). Logging in works but comments don't send.

I can't login on Jerboa because I get an illegal input error about how field 'id' is required for type with serial name blah blah blah. This is after I updated to the latest version because I kept getting an error on the last one about a missing JWT token ):
I don't get any error the app just immediately crashes.
There was a note about that in one of the recent changelogs. Maybe the latest version will fix your issue as well.

Instances federated with others (mostly hexbear) are finding that custom emojis on federated instance aren't rendered at the same size as locally. This change embeds a 'emoji' string in the markdown title to signify that it is an image that is intended to be rendered the same size as a local custom emoji.

Login is bugged on android firefox, it spams "incorrect login" and "wrong credentials" something like that
I switched to Opera
I just tested this on ff android, and logging in is working. Could you open an issue in the lemmy-ui repo?

Who decided on the colours of the new comment and first reply... spine? It's nearly impossible to see if a new comment is a reply.
