Are there known issues with Lemmy 0.19 on the Jerboa app? I just updated to the latest 0.0.53 (no idea which version I was previously on) and I can't log in. I get some strange error basically saying that it can't find a custom emoji keyboard.
I will also open an issue on the Jerboa repo.
Edit: It's fixed! Update to Jerboa 0.0.54
Ya I'm getting that also, thx for opening an issue.
Here is the issue, in case you or anyone else have anything to add. https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/issues/1294
Sometimes I use Eternity (fork of Infinity for Reddit). Logging in works but comments don't send.
It's fixed! Update to 0.0.54
I can't login on Jerboa because I get an illegal input error about how field 'id' is required for type with serial name blah blah blah. This is after I updated to the latest version because I kept getting an error on the last one about a missing JWT token ):
It's fixed! Update to 0.0.54
Thanks for the heads up! It works now (:
I don't get any error the app just immediately crashes.
There was a note about that in one of the recent changelogs. Maybe the latest version will fix your issue as well.
Any ideas when it gets uploaded to fdroid? They only got .52, there.
Fdroid releases are delayed by maybe a week compared to the Github repo. At some point I switched to installing from the Github releases because of that.
Yeah, but then I have to check for new versions manually, correct?
Yes, you have to check and install versions manually.
I don't install every single release, just every couple weeks when I get around to it or when there's an acute issue.
I also get notifications from newreleases.io, where you can basically follow Github or other repositories/registries to receive email notifications for updates. So I don't necessarily check the repo, but get release notes in my inbox and decide if it's worth upgrading from there.
