FINALLY hearing back from a case manager with my insurance about electrolysis. Turns out the lady assigned to me was laid low with pneumonia for a couple weeks so that's why it took so long. She was quite helpful and knowledgeable in our phone convo and has already sent along a bunch of resources. Really hoping I'll be good to go as soon as the new year comes around

Yup today is gonna be a self care day

So, i did my shot today and i think i may have developed scar tissue on one of my injection sites? I rotate where i shoot up, but i guess it can still happen over time (I've switched to IM about one and a half years ago, so i haven't been at it for very long). I kind of struggled to pierce the skin, took me three tries to get through in spite of pushing real hard. But i felt no pain at all when doing that. And when i finally managed to get the needle in, there was no pain either, but going through the flesh felt really off, kind of fibrous and ... dry. Anybody ever come across something similar? This was on my thigh muscle, i've always been using this alternating between the left and right leg and nothing like this has ever happened before.

I waxed my chest twice over the past week instead of shaving it every other day with my facial hair like I normally do and omg I love this. It was red and angry after each time I did it and got a bunch of red spots, but I've been taking care of it daily with salicylic acid cleanser and lotion and it has recovered quickly. Now it's just smooth as hell with no stubble! I think I'm gonna wax a few more places today too.

Anyways, it's time for my injection.
