He's right though that's a pretty handsome pig. Love his lil grin.

RIP. I recommend the entire "Sam Neill loses his shit" trilogy (Possession / In the Mouth of Madness / Event Horizon)

[-] came_apart_at_Kmart@hexbear.net 9 points 2 weeks ago

i had not heard of or seen Posession... but loved the other 2.

gonna add it now

it's a tough-at-times but rewarding watch. anticipate a lot of shrieking.

The Wilderpeople is really good too. That one's the inverse though, where he un loses his shit and helps out a Māori kid.

What's wrong with Waititi? I enjoy his movies.

[-] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago

He signed that Zionist "no hostage left behind letter," so he undeniably sucks ass (so do many of his movies, like Thor Love and Thunder lol). I like What We Do in the Shadows a lot, though.

JoJo rabbit was alright. I also don't count Marvel slop towards or against a director since, ya know, you gotta get paid.

[-] LaGG_3@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago

He made a decent Marvel slop buddy comedy, so I think Love and Thunder can count against him lol.

[-] invalidusernamelol@hexbear.net 2 points 1 week ago

Never saw it lol, I totally forgot he did Marvel stuff tbh. I just watch his regular movies and can't really think of one of those I dislike

In the Mouth of Madness and the Omen 3 are some of my favorite movies with Sam Neill

If we're very lucky, Sam might have been bitten by a mosquito...

If you wanna see a movie about a man who loves his pig, there's Pig, starring nicholas cage as a man who loves his pig

[-] Impenetrouble@hexbear.net 10 points 2 weeks ago

Which Cage considers his favorite role.

[-] LeeeroooyJeeenkiiins@hexbear.net 8 points 2 weeks ago* (last edited 2 weeks ago)

Oh does he? It's an interesting take on the Taken premise where the only violence is directed at him

[-] Impenetrouble@hexbear.net 5 points 2 weeks ago

But he hurts with words, and meals.
