Try aluminum foil where she scratches. Something about the sound and feel, but it's not effective for all kitties.
If you get a new cat post for her to not scratch i highly recommend WOVEN SISAL instead of ropes
The rope posts get cut and the rope breaks and it's fucked
The woven ones are like fabric and will tear but still stay together. The one we got 5 years ago for 2 cats who use it regularly is only maybe just needing replacement, and it was 50 dollars vs like idk 12-16

Thank you <3 I think she won't be too mean as long as we monitor them the first few times they interact. I do have a lot of anxiety, though, but every time I think about a specific fear it's like, wow, I sound like my parents being afraid of everyone! Like Im worried she'll break stuff or something. But i know that's something to deal with if it happens, rather than be afraid of. She'll probably be fine, she's been a super sweetheart so far
