Squash has fermented and is now pickleball
Pickled squash could be alright I guess. I also dislike cabbage but kimchi is pretty good. Mainly it is the texture of cooked squash I dislike.

Butternut is just such a fun name, and it is pretty versatile in many dishes. Acorns are also kinda interesting, but not quite as yummy.
