I wonder how these businesses will be punished. What do you think? My guess they'll have to pay half the stolen wages and that's it

10 years ago I was earning $2.13/hour as a tipped wage earner. Employers are "supposed" to give you the regular minimum wage if your tips don't make up for it, but I imagine a lot don't, and I imagine this happens in every state with similar tipped wages

But remember, it is China that routinely underpays their workers, I know because I watched several documentaries on it in highschool and college.
