However, your article ignores all the violence against Democrats, of which, there is plenty. It also ignores the fact that the Republican ideologue industry is rife with decades of people claiming the same against Democrats, often using even stronger language. Democrats are literally described as "demons" and such.
This puts your thesis at a crossroads of contradiction: Either you are admitting that Democrats are also targeted due to the same rhetoric or that they are not. Well, if they are, then the whole vibe of your title is off. Democrats ARE targeted, too.
