Made a bet with a friend that the UK would be back before 2035. So I’m happy when I see a picture like this one. I need those tacos.
Since the day after the referendum it was obvious the UK would spend the next several decades renegotiating all the same benefits they had as part of the EU. Essentially a return in all but in name.
Actually returning is problematic.
The UK has to adopt the euro, for one.
Much as I’d like to have freedom of movement back, I’m far from convinced that’s a good idea.
If I was in the EU, I'd throw in an anti hokey-pokey clause too.
No more in, out, in, out, shake it all about.
