I mean, If I were to try that at my age, the feeling the next day would not be dissimilar from a hangover

[-] nullroot@lemmy.world 8 points 3 days ago

My eating habits especially close to bed absolutely dictate my quality of sleep and how I feel in the morning. Just not coffee, wooo ADHD

[-] caseyweederman@lemmy.ca 5 points 3 days ago

I quit drinking, but I still get hangovers from sugar intake and bad sleep. It sucks! I did the thing that was supposed to solve that.
The alcohol is only a contributor in hangovers.

Me not knowing pounds thinking it must be really fucking heavy

[-] Kolanaki@pawb.social 10 points 2 days ago

"Ugh... I'm so hungover."

Guy on other end of the radio: "You're what?! Over."

[-] unmagical@lemmy.ml 23 points 3 days ago

M&Ms oughtn't be measured in units of pounds.

[-] EtherWhack@lemmy.world 7 points 3 days ago

I mean, it only makes sense. Measure freedom pebbles with freedom units

[-] SethTaylor@lemmy.world 4 points 3 days ago* (last edited 3 days ago)

Nothing should be. Grams are so much easier. Imperial units feel like trying to do math while on mushrooms. When I find a recipe in imperial units I just quit lol

[-] unmagical@lemmy.ml 4 points 2 days ago

M&Ms oughtn't be measured in units of kg.

[-] Fizz@lemmy.nz 21 points 3 days ago

I assume half a pound of M&Ms would destroy me. (I have no idea how heavy a pound is)

[-] webp@mander.xyz 17 points 3 days ago

About as heavy as four quarterpounders

[-] baguettefish@discuss.tchncs.de 14 points 3 days ago

there are 453 grams in a pound

[-] bitchkat@lemmy.world 3 points 2 days ago

2.2 lbs per kilogram.

[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@piefed.world 16 points 3 days ago

Only if your dealer rounds down.

Should be closer to 454.

[-] modus@lemmy.world 11 points 3 days ago

My dealer usually cuts my supply with Skittles and perler beads. He's a piece of shit.

[-] CompactFlax@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 3 days ago

Less than 1/4 kilo. I just cut it in half, roughly it works out. Don’t ask me about stones though.

[-] DioramaOfShit@lemmy.world 3 points 3 days ago

Pretty sure its like 16 oz or something

[-] Fizz@lemmy.nz 1 points 2 days ago

Ok I could probably handle that. For some reason I had 28kg in my head when reading it.

When he says hungover, what he means is diarrhea: experience.

[-] dbtng@eviltoast.org 3 points 2 days ago

That was my first thought. "I know why I don't eat like that anymore ..."

Jokes on you man, I'm eating like that right now

[-] dbtng@eviltoast.org 1 points 2 days ago

No brother. The joke is no longer on me. Enjoy.

[-] AI_toothbrush@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 days ago

Im a prolific drinker yet i would be scared to do that. Maybe americans are used to that much sugar but i for sure am not.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 5 points 3 days ago

Those binge habits will translate great when they’re older…

[-] dbtng@eviltoast.org 1 points 2 days ago

Really doesn't take that long.

[-] Taleya@aussie.zone 1 points 2 days ago

Tell me you're neurotypical without telling me you're neurotypical
