They already play politics, so they shouldn't be exempt at all. But he will never do this because for the 1% that might criticize him, the other 99% will keep voting for him because he is "gods chosen leader".

Just like businesses get their own representatives, right?
They do, it's called a lobbyist and every politician is owned by some business interest or another

Then the companies go on to legally lobby politicians when people have a max donation of 10k, and companies can now pretty much "donate" unlimited amounts.
...is that not double(+) representation with singular taxation?
I’m pretty sure religion is well represented in government hence the tax exemptions.

It’ll just be something else he can “sell” to people willing to pay.
So...churches are not Trump's friend, just something he can USE to get what he wants.
This is why I will always respect Queen Donvict tRUMP, the most orangest of child rapists.
