Most common tropes I have seen today
theres so much just random, unprompted decrying of china and taiwan. its truly bizarre and makes it obvious its a campaign, no person sees this and immediately is like 'whatabout china taiwan tho'. if anything the direct thing to call to mind is iraq, libya, afghanistan, vietnam, maybe russia and ukraine.
Sadly there are legitimately people who seethe about Russia and China 24/7. This is mostly Europeans, who are so brain-broken, so mind-warped, that on their deathbeds, the only thing they'd think is:
"At least Russia won't get to kill me!"
This sentiment is also ubiquitous in r/leftist.
I checked my small city's subreddit to see about a protest and it was full of US State Department propaganda, really incredible how thoroughly astroturfed the internet is
They finally regained the media control they lost when the Internet became widespread and allowed for much more free and unrestricted communication.
It's more important than ever to go outside and talk to people again. It's the only way that they will never be able to take from us
Genuinely starting to wonder if covid just broke everyone's brains. It's been total derangement since the lockdowns.
This has been my observation with motorists since 2020
since the lockdowns ended most of society has just been getting infected over and over by a dangerous disease that literally damages cognitive functioning---and even most communists can't be bothered to even wear a mask
the ongoing pandemic has infinitely more to do with broken brains than the half-assed lockdowns
People went online in greater numbers than before though, that's just a fact, and it definitely didn't help either. But COVID also isn't helping.
I think the barrage of bourgeois-fascist propaganda via online might have a greater effect just because if brain damage directly caused people to be right wing we'd see people on here becoming more right-wing too. Unless being a leftist prior to brain damage is somehow an inoculation to this phenomenon or something. Like, why is "US shouldn't arrest people outside its borders to steal their oil" harder to understand to a brain damaged person than "US can arrest people outside its borders because Maduro is evil"?
