Ooh here's another one who's right to be scared, and whose death I would struggle to shed a tear over.

We're not supposed to celebrate death or violence.

In unrelated matters, I just want to say that I'm really enjoying Lemmy's m/music community today, y'all should check them out!

Edit: ITT: a lot of people who haven't checked out https://lemmy.world/c/music?dataType=Post&sort=New

"I'm all for violence and hate, just not towards me. I want to spread hate and fear, as I'm a soldier for my beliefs. But not when there's a slightest chance of risk for my own safety involved. I only want to harm others while being safe myself."

It seems that they have definitely started to show themselves so much more that TACO is in office now.

I suppose people are starting to notice.

I would laugh so hard if the person responsible turned out to be a republican... again.

It would be extra great if the shooter was a pardoned Jan. 6 insurrectionist.

I've thought about this a lot since Luigi. The power of these alt reality movements is derived from their mouthpieces. Without their army of apologists, every ridiculous lie sounds as stupid as it is and always was.

Being a professional shill/propagandist for these people should be one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, and I'm surprised that's not the case. So, smart move on Ben. He should hang up the towel, and find a real job.

Ben Shapiro killed Charlie Kirk. After all, Ben Shapiro was the rising star replacement for Rush Limbaugh until Charlie Kirk came along and passed him up, and became the big MAGA Media darling.

Now Shapiro is back on top. He stands to benefit the most by Kirk's death. Obviously, Shapiro did it.

Hey maybe there's a guy with a hit list going around killing people. Or was that the Minnesota shooter that was out to kill a bunch of democrats?

It proves that guns will make them shut up.

Come on, exercise your free speech.

No no, Ben, god chose you, he'll just gently blow any bullets out of the way, right? Because god exists? And prayer works? He created the universe and shit?

I want to punch this weasel-faced rat just on principle, but especially because of his overt religiosity, and therefore dangerous insanity.

Why isn't religion a mental illness?

Come on Ben, go stand up on a stage somewhere in public, go speak your mind since you love doing that. Don't be a fucking coward, go put yourself out there and keep spewing your hateful drivel.

Shapiro should keep going out and talking, he just needs to bring his wife with him. That way, if something happens, she can just soak up all the blood with her desiccated vagina.

One major difference between the Kirk shooting and that of the Minnesota legislators is that when Hortman was murdered, the rest of the Democrats still showed up to work.

Why? Because what Shapiro et al do isn't something they truly believe in, it's all a grift to make money. As soon as selling hate becomes too dangerous, they'll just pivot to selling crypto or some shit.

The funny thing is that they're both such generic rightwing grifters that I can't keep those two separate in my head. When I first heard about Kirk getting capped my first thought was "Was this a anti-semetic attack?" quickly followed by "Wait, am I thinking of the right guy?" (spoiler alert, I wasn't)
