Ooh here's another one who's right to be scared, and whose death I would struggle to shed a tear over.

[-] aramis87@fedia.io 111 points 11 months ago

We're not supposed to celebrate death or violence.

In unrelated matters, I just want to say that I'm really enjoying Lemmy's m/music community today, y'all should check them out!

Edit: ITT: a lot of people who haven't checked out https://lemmy.world/c/music?dataType=Post&sort=New

[-] aramova@infosec.pub 30 points 11 months ago

Hey man, nice shot!

Such a banger song.

[-] halcyoncmdr@lemmy.world 25 points 11 months ago

I will always celebrate the death of terrorists that target civilians. Stochastic terrorism is still terrorism.

[-] SexualPolytope@lemmy.sdf.org 17 points 11 months ago* (last edited 11 months ago)

!music@lemmy.world for people who'd like an instance-agnostic link. Idk of a way to specify the sort using this method tho.

[-] bdonvr 16 points 11 months ago

We're not supposed to celebrate death or violence

It depends on what instance you're on. We don't have ads and corporate masters here. As long as you don't encourage someone to go do something like that I think you'll be fine. Depends on the instance admins tho.

[-] ExtremeDullard@piefed.social 11 points 11 months ago

We're not supposed to celebrate death or violence.

I'm not celebrating anything. I don't wish anybody to die, but I certainly won't get dressed to go to everybody's funeral.

[-] aramis87@fedia.io 11 points 11 months ago

cough. Yeah, go check out m/music on Lemmy.

[-] tfm@piefed.europe.pub 11 points 11 months ago

We're not supposed to

You don't tell me what I'm supposed to do!

[-] Guidy@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago

Yeah seriously. I’m not that attached to this account. I’ll celebrate whatever I want. I simply don’t want to celebrate violence but not because of some fucking hand wringing rule.

[-] WalrusDragonOnABike@reddthat.com 5 points 11 months ago

I think we could use some more opening statements though.

[-] atzanteol@sh.itjust.works 5 points 11 months ago

Far too subtle for lemmykins.

[-] venusaur@lemmy.world 5 points 11 months ago

Ohhh the wu tang post. Chef’s kiss.

[-] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 11 months ago

yeah but i'm done being dishonest

[-] null@lemmy.nullspace.lol 1 points 11 months ago

Why are we not supposed to celebrate death?

[-] aramis87@fedia.io 1 points 11 months ago

Because it can be used as an excuse for governments, corporations, or deranged people to target the instances that host us, and the people who run those instances.

[-] null@lemmy.nullspace.lol 1 points 11 months ago

For celebrating violence, maybe.

Not for celebrating death.

[-] YetAnotherNerd@sopuli.xyz 1 points 11 months ago

ObscureMusic (https://sopuli.xyz/c/obscuremusic@piefed.social) has been doing pretty good job, I celebrate posts there all the time. :)

[-] phoenixarise@lemmy.world 7 points 11 months ago

I’d die a giddy little girl if I never had to hear his annoying nasally voice again. Sooooo not masculine.

[-] Rhaedas@fedia.io 16 points 11 months ago

His voice and mannerisms are annoying, but it's what he says that really is the problem. Maybe he thinks Aquaman is now after him.

[-] lennybird@lemmy.world 8 points 11 months ago

Agreed. Don't care if you're tall or short, ugly or pretty, nice voice or bad voice. All I care is whether you're a decent person or not.

[-] phoenixarise@lemmy.world 2 points 11 months ago

His whiny voice makes what he says worse, at least to me. I’m not going to listen to some snot nosed bridge troll tell me what’s up.

[-] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 8 points 11 months ago

Here, you can use this to adjust his voice to the nasalliness of your pleasure:

Hahaha I love the internet

[-] ThePowerOfGeek@lemmy.world 4 points 11 months ago

He sounds like a gnat on speed.

[-] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 6 points 11 months ago

What I find so weird is that apparently he's the Confederates' idea of what a very S-M-R-T person sounds like. Just because he talks fast?

The "debate me" energy that so many mansplainers have....it just has micro d energy written over it.
