Night walk. Hambam ended up rolling in some other dog's shit. Needed bath.

I was not very popular at first but he ended up accepting his fate.

Getting that dog into the bath wasn't very easy.

There are more than a handful of nonnas out there (all of them) that think you haven't eaten enough.

I’ll be joining you on Friday….then we’ll take over the world!

[-] [email protected] 11 points 6 days ago

Woop there it is

Rent increase notice received. I had a feeling it was coming, as the places near me with a similar floorplan were increasing. I almost can't be mad tho, it's still $50pw under the comparable places lol!

Sent a reluctant message to the apartment using one of my two car parks, about starting to charge for it. I won't charge them if I find a job though, and what I'm asking per month is $150 less than other car parks around here too so 💀🤷🏼‍♀️

Maybe I've been too busy to notice but did I miss Autumn? Seems winter is here already.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 6 days ago

I feel like we skipped into Winter very quickly. Even the beautiful big tree behind our house was confused for ages and then dropped its leaves very quickly!

[-] [email protected] 5 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

It's hard to tell it's autumn without autumn leaves ft. these trees known for allergy balls

I am so happy to be away from the dreaded plane trees and grimy streets of carlton

here the other day after some rain I went outside and the air smelled like a fresh forest 😭

[-] [email protected] 5 points 6 days ago

[-] [email protected] 8 points 6 days ago

[-] [email protected] 5 points 6 days ago

I'm thinking about what I would like for my birthday and the only thing I can come up with is a caviar tasting box.

If I want something I buy it. I really can't think of anything else.

Did everyone stockpile machetes before they were banned today? It slipped my mind and I forgot to get mine

[-] [email protected] 9 points 6 days ago

This has to be one of the least effective and stupidest knee-jerk reactions I've yet seen. It would be more to the point to ban shopping centres imo. Or teenagers. Machetes are really really easy to make - long grass slasher machine blades make the best ones. This is traditional in the bush for clearing scrub and butchering deer/sheep and opening Queensland Blue pumpkins if you can't find the bow saw. Just screw the blade to a handle of some sort and sharpen. And I don't think they're going to ban council grass mowers anytime soon. Or Bunnings. Or pumpkins.

dear optichoice caller who refused to acknowledge "not interested"

I hope you enjoy the high volume youtube poop I put the phone next to, and the complaint to the DNC

[-] [email protected] 7 points 6 days ago

train delays all day from various punks walking out on tracks

wtf , this is intolerable

[-] [email protected] 8 points 6 days ago

Usually we have Spotify on at work, but today we have the radio and they’re advertising a competition to win a ski trip to Utah and all I can think of is what if you won the competition and then were denied entry because border officials didn’t think it was enough of a reason to visit? I wonder if there’s the option to just take money instead, haha.

I am exhausted and I'm still so far behind where I want to be packing wise. All this stuff seems neverending, and everything seems to triple in size once I try to put it into a box. At least I should be building some good muscle with all this lifting.

Miss Meow likes the stacked boxed decor theme, she's been having a great time exploring everything.

Saw some cunt Jeep P-Plater with a "Fuck Cyclists" sticker on it. Should've taken a photo for crimestoppers. Bet it was some Andrew Tate fanboy piece of shit.

I fought the urge to do something destructive but boy did I want to. Key the car, slash two tyres, spray a swastika on the rear spare wheel, hang out and abuse the driver. Get my bike, bash my bike into the passenger side, then report a hit n run. Use some liquid nails and glue the progress flag patch I've got to the back.

$400+ for floor seats for One Republic at Sidney Myer Music Bowl? $180+ for terrace seats? Fuck that.

[-] [email protected] 7 points 6 days ago

For some of the worst audio quality possible in the live music capital of Australia, too.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 6 days ago

Sigur ros concert was over $400 and $200 for the nosebleeds.

[-] [email protected] 8 points 6 days ago* (last edited 6 days ago)

I was 4th row at Sigur Ros the other day and it was ~$220. Still a shitload, but not that crazy

[-] [email protected] 8 points 6 days ago

How was it????

I was desperate to go but missed out.

I just broke my packing tape dispenser.

Fortunately it is just a plastic guard so I can still use it, I just need to be careful not to gouge the tape with the metal cutter.

[-] [email protected] 7 points 6 days ago

Well I've had my "stuff I bought from Temu that is actually tiny" experience.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 6 days ago

we need pictures 🤭

I bought some iron on patches which are half the size I expected ( pictures coming )

Thought I lost my keys when I got home and almost started getting worried. Turns out they were in my bag, in my jacket pocket. Then I thought I lost my earbud case. That was in my jumper pocket, and I was wearing the jumper this time. This sums up my week so far. And maybe my life since having long COVID.

Happy Hump Day!! 😊

I don't think the heating is working in my workplace, I'm cold.

[-] [email protected] 6 points 6 days ago

I didn't go to bed early last night but I spent an hour playing with one of my grooveboxes. At least I spent some time doing something I like, and I think I've put enough down I could arrange it into a song
