No story spoilers, but here are some Death Stranding 2 thoughts:

spoilerI wish most producers were given as much creative freedom as Kojima. There are a lot more weird and sellable games out there that never got made because big players in the industry are so risk averse. Very few game series have been such a weird fever dream and so deeply moving as the Death Stranding games. I can't re-watch the final DS2 sequences without tearing up. So beautiful and sad.

Thoughts: The judge being so comprehensive with the jury instructions is actually intended to reduce a "jury misdirected" avenue for appeal. He's not doing the defence's job, he's shoring up the verdict, especially if it is a guilty verdict.

I'm not giving up yet, I see the app seems to have substantial offers every now and then. Might be worth it if the deal is right and I can find something I like!

It's where the Woolies used to be on Swanston St, between Bourke and Lt Collins.

Well El Jannah is open in the CBD. It has not been love at first taste for me... but I think I'll do a little tour of the menu and hopefully find a favourite. Huge serving size though. My little insulated lunchbox did *not *cut it.

Wow, almost a clean sweep in her favour.

Lattouf v ABC judgment this morning at 10:15. Unfortunately while ABC has come out of this looking terrible, I suspect they are probably right to be feeling a little less nervous at the outcome than Antoinette Lattouf.

My short wishlist for today:

  • Devastating LNP loss
  • Dutton loses his seat
  • Amelia Hamer is never heard from again

Went a little overboard with the tree this year myself.

What did my true love get me 4 the 20th day of Christmas?

I mentioned the other day that I knew one of the boys that was murdered in Sydney. It was Luke Davies.

I had only known him for a couple of years, since his cabin crew training here in Melbourne, so I am not close enough to his friends or family to really be connected to their community in mourning.

But in my own way I just want the universe to know that each and every word about how he was a beautiful soul are true.

This is a fate that I am still failing to comprehend. My heart aches for his family and close friends. I will dearly miss him.

Just one more big bear hug would have been nice, hey fella?

Love this time of the evening in summer. The angle of the sun is just perfect for highlighting the dust on every horizontal surface in my home. ๐Ÿ˜ #blessed

I would describe the size of the Walk for Yes crowd here as "ginormous". I think that's the technical term, anyway.

We love our Tassie comrades. They deserve a spot on the Aussie Zone icon.
