If youre mostly looking at the same 5 websites anyway (because information is centralized now, this isnt the 90s) theres a private frontend for almost ever one. Libredirect is an extension that I use that auto-redirects to those front ends, and the original companies never see a dime.

I seem to remember Musk's defence on the paedo thing being that in South Africa, it's not meant to be taken literally and it's just a generic insult.

There’s pseudo historical arguments that “eye of the needle” is a contrived way to describe a gate, or the one I saw here was “all things are possible through god, so the point is that god is powerful enough to save rich people.”
