I was really freaking out, NGL, but as usual, the clutch happened. I have anxiety, so I sometimes wonder if I'll be able to be "saved," but let's hope this month of May goes well. I had some promising job interviews lately, but that hardly means anything I guess because jobs are too damn quick to ghost and reject you for no reason. These are the same jobs that'll put their postings back up a week later... after they tell you a lie about how they'll "contact you if a position becomes available."
I really wish I had the words to express how thankful I am. If it wasn't for c/mutual_aid, I literally wouldn't even be alive properly. It's a morbid thought, but it brings peace knowing that didn't have to be the case. When I finally land a job, I'll be sure to give as much as I can back to users in this comm. I really enjoyed doing so when I had stable employment for about a brief 2 months.
This month is my birth month, and the best gift I could get is a damn job hiring me. Let's hope for an end to this job hunting shit. I share a birthday with a very based abolitionist. If that hint doesn't work for you, try the piano man.
