Jesus wept, look at that blindspot in front of the A pillar. It's the size of Elon's ego!
Cyberstuck
A place to post your Cybertruck fails! We're here to make fun of this hunk of shit and throw as much shade as we can to that garbage bag of a human elon.
No doxxing No slurs No racism And no fucking nazis!
The swastidumpster doesn't have blind spots, it has visibility spots
Because having an A pillar isn't bad enough, they went ahead and added a second one...
Probably so their drivers don't see the people they cut through and end up traumatised?
Children are replaceable. Always remember: empathy is weakness.
Yeah, I get how they keep taking motorcyclists out
Just do a U-turn in the opposite direction.
"I'm not an ambi-turner."
Says here in the manual, "does not support round abouts."
Manual: "If you see a roundabout, you just floor it and plow through, like a badass."
Driver: "Oww! Arrgh! That was rough. ...I think the rear axle fell off."
I'm sure the fact that the steering wheel is a rectangle makes this issue all the more annoying.
Best steering of any dumpster.
How harsh are the penalties for using your phone while driving over there?
It's a ticketable offense in most states, but that's usually it, so just a fine or a day in court if you want to try to fight the ticket.
Cops do not give a flying fuck about people using their phones while driving. They're too busy looking at the actual fucking laptops they have in their cars.
Or they're looking at their phones, too. I'm a school bus driver and a couple of years ago I had a cop pass me doing 45 mph while I had my flashing red lights and stop sign on. He nearly hit kids that were crossing and when I looked down at him I saw him with one hand on his steering wheel and the other holding his phone.
How harsh are the penalties for using your phone while driving over there?
Very very light.
- What is the fine for distracted driving? The fine is $172 for this offence. This amount includes a fine of $150 plus the 15 percent victims' surcharge. This fine is in keeping with the fines for other traffic violations.
- Are there demerit points for this offence? No. It is felt that the dollar fine will encourage drivers to focus on driving. Drivers that exhibit what is deemed to be more serious or risky behaviors could be charged with 'driving carelessly' under the Traffic Safety Act. The penalty for the existing 'driving carelessly' offence carries six demerit points and a fine of $402. If a driver does commit a moving violation while engaged in one of these activities, or any other deemed as a distraction, they could receive two tickets - one for distracted driving, and one for the moving violation.

(I am not American, but I have had the displeasure of seeing one up here)
Steer-by-wire, ladies and gentlemen.
it should be SO SIMPLE to have it automatically correct. ffs, we had on-the-fly digital calibration figured out with PS2 GAMES, but i guess making a fucking car isn’t as important as compensating for old joysticks.
$5 rc controllers can do turns without losing center, though.
Makes you wonder how overcharged this is then. lol
Disclaimer: I am European, I use kilometers. Realized after the whole paragraph.
About 100% of the price. It is worth nothing, and yet it has a non-zero price. Pre-release i though it looked goofy, saw the price and said to myself it is wildly overpriced. Saw the reviews and I wouldn't want it free.
Most cars don't see issues before 35k. None of the cars my family owned (7 different) didn't have any (apart from one battery issue that basically prevented the car from starting up and required a support person to go reset the car on site).
Hell my 33k Citroën (don't judge me) C3 didn't even need geometry fixup. The only issue was a marten chewed on my engine cooling pipe, leaked all the coolant and started overheating the engine on the highway. Fixable with some rubber pressure bandaid and 2$ roll of tape. The pipe was a $40 fix including shipping the pipe from France and work.
Not the issue, I have a Kia EV6 and have had no issues with steering. Just shitty Tesla thing.
Yeah, the issue is shitty steer-by-wire. I work with VW on theirs, it's solid (if a bit overcomplicated).
The Kia EV6 is a fairly conventional electric power steering system, pretty sure. Steering wheel is physically connected to the steering rack, so not steer-by-wire.
I'm guessing there is a recalibration mode but I'm sure the modern car market would demand you go to the dealership to run that program.
Holy hell this is embarrassing. I nearly pre-ordered a cybertruck several years ago before Musk lost his mind and there were few EVs on the market. Glad I got my Chevy instead - it's a rock solid EV.
Elon lost his mind and was calling people "pedo guy" for saving kids before the cybertruck had preorders available.
It's kind of funny, in a gallow's humor way. It's like people saying at any point after the first month of that first magat administration,"I was with him up to now..." I'm happy that they finally come around, but hoooleeey!
It isn't easy extracting oneself from a cult. It took me too long to stop admiring the shitbag as well. I've always been thrilled with space exploration, and I let too much slide as a result. He killed my enthusiasm for it, and that's unforgivable.
A lot of the things he says about space are fun as thought experiments. Whether or not they work out or are good ideas. Terraforming Mars sounds interesting. Using a methane evaporation blanket to cool starship during re-entry without a heat shield? sounds SUPER neat. Even landing and re-using a booster was deemed impractical, or not financially viable. That's the thrill of exploration part. Getting all belligerent when proven wrong makes it hard to get excited about things. It turns into "If this doesn't work out, Elon is going to have a crybaby fit over it." instead of "Oh wow, thats a super cool ambitious idea." Part of taking moonshots is that sometimes you're wrong, but his ego is too out of control to ever admit he is wrong.
Personally my enthusiasm for space exploration was killed by how mediocre KSP2 was, but Elon definitely didn't help.
That really was the day the mask fell off.
He was quite well liked up to that point.
I haven't heard of that one but just Googled it. What a weirdo.
The cars where garbage long before he lost his mind
Glad you saw sence. It's hard to know what in Tesla is Musk and what is Tesla. Considering that half the staff at Tesla have to Elon proof the factory so he doesn't stop production because he doesn't like the colour of the robots or something. The cybertruck is all musk.
