Kano was my favorite part of the first film, glad to see him returning. Karl Urban is a much older, but I think fun looking Johnny Cage.

Karl Urban is 52. That's a bit long in the tooth for ol Johnny Cage.
Mortal Kombat originally came out in 1992 so let's assume he's playing the original Johnny Cage.

I have a feeling it's going to be lame in some unexpected way. The first one didn't even have the tournament, in this one there's probably another twist with a character that was created just for the movie.
From memory I think I didn’t hate the first, so I might download this when it’s out.
