I sat though a intro to copilot training session and this is what a took from it:

Highly inconsistent - didnt work half the time for the Microsoft employee presenting.

Have to be super specific with paragraph of prompt - like devil wears parada coffee scene. Which means its less effort to do it myself than figure out what it wants me to tell it. This might be fun for making catboy pictures on my free time but zero at work. In fact less than zero time as time is lost unless I can use the same prompt again. So unless there is site that gives me lots of copilot prompts to reference its not worth my time to learn.

convert word to power point - sure thats useful but never had to use that ever so w/e

If being used in a meeting it will tell me what I missed if I step out. Rofl. So ok in the event you cant ask someone on chat wtf happened on the side because a order came at the door. Again never happened to me cause I dont have a toxic team.

Read teams chat - i can have it summarize my teams chat for decisions. First off decisions being done on teams with no email follow up? Teams has 30 day retention policy. Nothing of value is kept in teams chat.

    Oh the best part:

it cAn FoRmAt ExCeL aNd PoWeR pOiNt FoR mE. I almost fell of chair laughing. According to Microsoft 80% of users dont know how to do this basic thing and need an AI to clean it up for them. Mate, if you can't do this simple thing you dont deserve the data. This is a literal skill issue and a simple one to fix. this it takes an hr, maybe 2, with 2 being how to google excel help. This is a secondary school skill. Hell i used it in primary school.

Bonus: If used in meeting it can tell ppl how upset I was and describe how it came to that conclusion. I have IMMENSE concern for working with a human who is unsure if I was flipping the table in front of them.

I cant wait for the next forced training. Thank god it was over teams or they would be seeing my signature look of not being impressed.

I always say Alternative to divorce is death do you part. Looked at some numbers and its terrible.

When unilateral “no fault” divorce laws started passing one state at a time, starting with Governor Ronald Reagan in California in 1969, researchers wanted to see the effect. In states that passed unilateral no-fault divorce, they observed:

The suicide rate for wives drop by 8-16%.

The domestic violence rate by and against both men and women dropped by 30%.

The homicide rate of women murdered by their partner dropped by 10%.

Back then they said he look like a used car salesman. But keep in mind Regan wore a tan suit too.

The outrage was over anything. Like Obama wearing loose jeans because he lost weight during presidency. Or Michelle making monkey noises to amuse daughter.

You can tell its dishonest because look at 47 and their comments. Total 180.

I watched the video and I wasnt sure if they were being ironic using AI to make it. The game is pretty anti AI. Its like if you make a movie about hating McDonald's and then make a positive commercial in one to promote the next movie as rage bait or something.

YouTube comments are pretty cut and dry negative but reddit comments add some depth about the culture In Korea.

" Korean companies, and I’m not just talking about gaming, have very publicly embraced AI, so this is par for the course. Even a custom glasses manufacturer I used, Breezm, recently sent out marketing emails about it how they’re so proud to be using AI to “personalize” their custom glasses."

"We shouldn't be surprised that a country that treats cosmetic surgery as basically a necessity, idolises a skewed idea of perfectionism and has a very culturally "narrow" acceptable behavioural framework that pushes simulated unity & conformity over individuality would be a heavy adopter of AI in creative fields. A lot of cultural signposts are filled with simulacra that resemble reality (ie the entire kpop scene) while not conforming exactly to any true reality, so why would the simulation of creativity be a hill to die on?

That isn't to say it's a good thing, but there are fewer barriers to break down for it to be commonplace and even celebrated."

    "It does surprise me.

Like in my mind Korea is very, very superficial. Everything gotta be beautiful and perfect. Hence why cosmetic surgery is so incredibly common (and I don't think cosmetic surgery is inherently evil).

Then to a surprise I learnt that a lot of people succesfuly, especially companies, there embraced AI even though it produced really ugly and malformed texts, images and videos. The very opposite of what I imagined Koreans would tolerate.

AI really seems to spread to every tech focused culture it seems."

Some of those are kind of hard to learn to write. Then we need more characters on keyboard or use special keys. I had a really hard time learning English and typing on it. I really dont need more struggles.

What kind of things could a person carry to sell and how if they ever had to forcibly leave?

I read diamonds are worthless second hand.

Solid gold seems legit but not sure if coins or jeweler is best.

I saw something about getting gold chains to trade individual links in a emergency.

Are there any other good tips?

    ‐---------‐----------------------------------------------------------

Edit: Put in a Consolidation effort based on comments and side research

    1. Jewelery is good getting through customs as some countries have limits on what you can take over borders. Canada for example has 10k limit before you have to delcare and it is not clear if per person.

1.a) Always buy jewelry you plan to wear anyway because you will not get full value back.

1.b) Buy from reputable locations. Looks like Mene was a popular one.

    1. Gold coins are good but get normal ones like Eagles, Buffalo, or Maple as it's easier to sell. Fancy ones are cool as collector item but will require more haggling.

2a) Bars are cheaper over spot but can be harder to sell overall

2b) Seems like libertycoin had consistent reviews.

    1. Cash is light but if your origin country currency dips then it's worthless.

    2. Crypto requires you to have your wallet seed and importantly access to a pc and electricity.

    3. Make sure to have a backup skil/trade to live off of.

    4. Transferring money between banks can have legal issues.

My grandmother bought the home we lived in the 90s for 90k at a 8% interest rate. I found out she refinanced the house several times from what seems like predatory practices and malicious advice and now owes 250k at 6%. Basically the house I thought was paid off now has 30 mortgage and she is 90. Her grandkids are in the will to inherent the house but do we inherent this mortgage?
