Even though I highly doubt the current CIA's skills, they're going to find another Chinese scientist in the US to accuse of spying and then send them to China. However, for that scientist to come back to the US and have all charges dropped, they would have to spy on, and then sabotage, the accelerator.

Lol, AI is shit to begin with. China will probably abandon it and produce some new incredible advancement while the west continues to dump everything into the AI pit and produce no returns. All while our entire economy is just scams from top to bottom.
LLMs are trash (for scientific purposes) but AI in general (which is a very very broad category and contains many useful types of software) has great potential for many technological advancements.
ai is quite good at identifying people to bomb i mean objects in camera in lower stakes environments like not driving afaik
