I thought we should do a welcome post for our new trans posters! We're all excited to have you all here cat-trans

Let me direct you first to the trans mega, it's a very cozy place for trans people to post and you don't necessarily have to post about being trans there (though of course there is lot of gender happening in there at all times!) doggirl-thumbsup

For an even more relaxed and chat-based setting, there's Tracha, aka our Matrix-based chat. Read the rentry for more information!

Finally, if you use pronouns that are not yet available to be selected, please DM the site admins and they are very happy to help! My own pronouns (ze/zir) weren't on the site till I asked for them.

    Bluesky is having some issues with a transphobe, so a relatively popular left-wing account posted about a partial move to Hexbear. That's my understanding, at least.

    (apologies in advance for vent/language) I am almost 50. Transitioning is a relatively recent thing. I spent years on Twitter. Last month I left for what I thought would be bluer, safer skies. Then the pedo apologist came and was allowed to stay, even after explicitly stating he was intent on making life hell for us. I'm tired. I'm just fucking tired. And then someone told me about this place. After just over a day, I'm loving it. But, being frank, I'm still a touch wary . But the energy is.....hopeful? Make sense?

    I'm old as fuck and transitioned a long time ago when I was 18 cause I was an IRC head back in the day. People transitioned all the time, and we even had our own interesting culture back then! People would mail CDs/tapes filled with resources to people who asked for it. Now its basically the same but because the internet is much more user friendly now and information is more dense we can reach way more people that have been needing help all this time

    It looks like the invite worked. I’m not getting the error message and have some text that says loading pinned messages. However there might be an issue as nothing is loading. I’ll check again tomorrow. Thank you.

    hello! the chat sounds interesting i will look into that tomorrow.

    right now im just trying to get used to this site because its so different to anything else ive used before, haha. im glad to be here, so thanks to Sage for letting everybody know about it, looking forward to having a place online where i dont have to see constant transphobia and abuse of minorities every day. :(
