You used to be able to watch TikToks without the app or an account, did that change?
yes. I'm not a tock ticker but my sister is and was always sending me "funny" ones. I want to say a few months ago, they became impossible to watch on mobile without a front end scraper. then the front end scraper i was using shit the bed, so I had to say, "I can't watch your tuck terks anymore."
I think it'll be another year or so before people who use that app start to realize the growing chasm between how great they want it to be and how shit it wants to be.
I think it still allows browser viewing on desktop where it doesn't have an app to push
I can totally imagine the aliens having a 90% approval rating then some westoid huuuuman "leaders" decide to launch cruise missiles straight into their cesarean proton matrix and ruin an eternity of post-sarcity dirty santa.
