Tbf the UK would have used veto power too if they didn't only need one veto to stop it and are esentially pretending like they support a ceasefire to avoid bad PR, probably the same thing for a least a few of the other countries on the council like France and Japan, although I'm 100% confident the UK is faking it and less so for the other countries
