antisapience

tbh tho it's no great feat to lack self awareness when your paycheck depends on it

I don't see the upside of doing this for the Democratic Party. If they're right, I suppose it's smug points, but it both pisses people off because of the arrogance and it makes their own potential voters complacent.

Do wine liberals crave smugness that much?

for fucks sake, at least Hillary was up ~5 points nationally and leading in some swing states when her birthday tweet dropped

[–] [email protected] 13 points 3 weeks ago

I mean Hillary did win the popular vote, it was just the much beloved institutions that cost her the presidency.

every political campaign has to project confidence to some degree. maybe not when the polls are this close tho.

[–] [email protected] 19 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah! They should probably just stick with their :votevote campaign. Very easy to even say the next prez wants your go early vote. This is awful strategy

I saw this post and thought she was in a comfortable lead. I went to look at the polls and saw that she's not in a favorable position and it's just getting worse. I find that quite hilarious and I can't wait to see this memed in about 2 weeks.

When an increasingly senile boomer can babble about Hannibal Lector and/or wander around for 18 minute stretches saying nothing and chuds still say "that's my god emperor" that isn't good.

I really don't understand why people do this.

  1. People believing it are less inclined to bother voting, demotivating your base.
  2. It embarrases you later.
  3. It motivates your opposition.

You can not manifest the presidency and doing so is actively detrimental.
