you read a headline like that you think 'hideous frat hazing ritual' not something so repugnant the perpetrators were ejected from the frat and the town made buttons about it

how the fuck was the NRA vetting the guy and didn't find out everyone from Ann Arbor would know him as Cat-Killer Doug

Breaking news: Guy with a special interest in murder tools likes torturing and murdering creatures.

Am I the only one in no way surprised by this? I assume by default that anyone into guns enough to become the leader of a group like the NRA would be a school shooter if they were younger today. The head of the NRA torturing and killing cat is the least surprising thing I’ve ever read.

"tortured and killed" at least they have the temerity to actually address it

Like the whole idea of domestic animals is that they get along with us. That ingrained trust. They become our pets and thousands of years later my cat screams at me and I realize its feeding time.

Vegan issues can fuck off but its part of what I am saying; we made them our friends and how can you betray that trust?

Truly psychpathic disorder shit.

Why do we as a culture think being a psychopath is soooooooo cool!?

Frat bros in particular are the scum of the earth, a bunch of giggling little delinquents that should be thrown in a labor camp for life before they get a chance to kill-sorry I mean “just do a joke”.

Capitalism self-selects for those in power to be the most monstrous members of the bourgeoisie who rise to prominence through their sheer ruthlessness and disregard for human well-being. That or they inherit their wealth and are brought up and their personalities shaped by those same bourgeois.

The people in power are then held up as positive role-models by society at large, and that leads to common people imitating them. Has Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, or Bill Gates ever killed a cat or other small animal? We probably can't say for sure. WOULD they kill a cat or other small animal if they thought they would benefit? Without a shadow of a doubt.

There's also obviously an element of the default (white) american perspective being that of the petit-bourgeois colonizer, and if one identifies with that perspective then they identify to some extent with all the mass murder and violence that that entails.

Really calls into question the sincerity of the white Amerikkkans religious beliefs.

They certainly don’t act like people who fear hell, and I’m sure if more people told them “you are going to burn in hell.” they’ll just shrug and laugh it off.

cw cat torture. The house cat was captured, its paws were cut off, and was then strung up and set on fire. The killing, which occurred in December 1979, was allegedly prompted by anger that the cat was not using its litterbox.

what the fuck

[–] [email protected] 19 points 1 day ago

Holy fuck someone do that to him

[–] [email protected] 20 points 1 day ago

Please describe that your cw is about how specifically the cat got tortured, I clicked not knowing, big mistake

[–] [email protected] 17 points 1 day ago
