thelemmy.club would like to be on your whitelist ๐Ÿ’š

Y'all seem cool. We have like, 100 active users and none that cause much trouble.

Can you add aussie.zone

I don't think they're particularly objectionable.

World is horrible. Usaians complaining that everyone who doesn't think bombing people is a good thing are kgb sleeper agents or teenagers rebelling from their parents.

Yes, thanks.

It is really shocking the vicious demand for consensus on all things but especially in war that seems to only come from USian accounts. I honestly believe it to be a totalitarian society.

Yeah, I don't mind disagreeing with people but the sheer reality tunnel they're in is horrible.

Every ideology has its edgelords but the average user seems completely in denial that reasonable, thoughtful, and compassionate people might disagree on whether the USA behaves as it presents itself. It's not fucking normal or good to have highly militarised cops, people carrying war machines in the street, army bases in every second country, be constantly at war, make kids swear allegance to the flag etc. The only way they know how to engage with the flaws of their country is to say 'X is something I'd expect in $currentenemynation'.

I'm not so sure about lemmy.world. It's not all bad but there's also a fuck ton of liberal shit on there. A lot of the posts I see are people bitching about communism.

I have no issues with .ml personally, it's the instance I created my main Lemmy account on and I find the people there to be more tolerable than .world.

Thanks for participating here and adding your thoughts here. This is what I am leaning towards. I know a lot of the users are essentially neutral but as the largest instance I believe they are being intentionally astroturfed.

I think it's fine to keep lemmy.ml while operating a whitelist.

When I browse their comms locally I see some shit but from my hexbear account it's fine.

I do question the sh.itjust.works federation though. I've never seen anything of value coming from that instance.

I hope you can keep this site going. I don't contribute much as I have zero food presentation skills but I really appreciate this place existing.

Hi!

Please don't feel like your food photo contributions are unwelcome if they aren't polished. If I recall correctly, one of the goals of the community was to reflect real vegan food, to help demonstrate how accessable and simple it can be.

Thank you. I will consider posting some things but I think my brain has a really different idea of what looks good to others. I joined the discord now so I might try posting a few things there first.
