It was awesome, really well voice acted, the premise was very interesting, AND it had a satisfying ending. Definitely a wild ride visually. Kinda felt like the creator tried watching Nausicaä on shrooms and this was the result lol. Loved the planet and its weirdness too, you just never knew what was going on.

the end was amazing. the creators said they have a story for season 2 but since HBO cancelled it, season 2 depends on how many netflix streams it gets. i hope they can make it. i gotta see more
Didn't know that! I'd be stoked for another season, I binged the series over a weekend and have considered watching it again. I wanna know what Levi gets up to out there with all ~~his~~ their**...mini me's? Idk what to call them
im curious too. i would also be curious to see how the planet looks now that its populated by a bunch of little levis
when i watched the show i also thought of them as a he, but it turns out they’re voiced by a woman, and then i realized i had no context to think of levi as a he and if anything they must be a they, if not a she
I didn't even realize I'd gendered Levi, using 'they' makes way more sense! I mean they're
...
Basically a new robot-alien-hybrid species at the end, or an organic tech that is sentient, I guess.
Levi's character was probably my favorite, I thought it was written beautifully.
Yeppers. My favourite bit of scifi TV from that year.
Yes! Reminded me so much of Wayne Barlowe's Expedition which is one of my favourite books on speculative zoology, although in comparison Scavenger's Reign has a stronger focus on environmentalism and is a bit more of a character piece than anything.
There's a short made by the creators of Scavenger's Reign on youtube that's free that feels like a prototype of what the show eventually becomes, it's great and you should def check it out
Edit: Also I think we mostly post about tv shows in the movie board lol
oh yeah the short is great. the shot of the escape pods in the intro to the show came from the short which i thought was cool
I found a YouTube link in your comment. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
I want more!

im probably gonna rewatch it over the weekend
Is it good? I have been meaning to watch it.
its amazing, you should absolutely check it out comrade
Ok I definitely will.
I loved it.
Spoiler tags because people who haven't watched it are in the thread.

Ursula and Sam, the two people who were traveling together? I was always at the edge of my seat wondering how the survivor would make it alone when one of them seemed about to die.
When she went back into the... Sharp rock pillar forest? I thought she was a goner.
God and when the telepathic frog demon that learned violence from that asshole tore Levi apart- very sad I think I involuntary shouted "no!" I hated that fuckin frog. Sad and scary, but very beautiful. The relationship between Levi and Azi was nice, nice to see a robot becomes a person story where the human transitions from seeing the robot as a thing to seeing them as a person and not a threat.
I'd love to see more of it but I don't know that it was picked up for another season.
