nice! after i got mine (2018), i tried to get people to refer to me with the honorific "Maestro". it failed to catch on. maybe you will have better luck!

I firmly believe that any grad student should be able to explain their research in broad layperson terms. If the only thing a graduate can do to explain their research is copy paste the abstract of their thesis, that reflects very badly on the student. I have more faith in marxisthayaca

For example, my grad studies were on recovering valuable materials out of industrial waste.

It was a professional master’s degree, so no active research (ph.D is coming soon); but it is about the theory and application of learning theory and educational technology, how do students (mostly adults) learn in online courses.
