Second this one, it's a great album. For similar vibes, I recommend "I Got Heaven" by Mannequin Pussy. MP's record is a little more poppy, but they've been living in a similar headspace for me this year.
Just came out, but i love the new Justice album!
Song wise, i am currently obsessed with Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter. Fun little ear worm that i suspect i will be hearing everywhere this summer
LAUGHINGFISH by Black Dresses (I'm an Ada Rook simp, what can I say)
Yeah, that's a fun record. They straddle an impressive line between noise and melody.
This had to drop over a weekend I'm out camping. Really excited to listen to this when I get home.
it fucks ngl

Albums:

Seconding knocked loose and alice longyu gao
Really have liked Alice Longyu Gao since I heard of her through that track she had Oli Sykes on. Wish she leaned into that screamy, heavy stuff a little more, but most of what she does is enjoyable regardless.

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum - Of the Last Human Being
Empress Of - For Your Consideration
Jacob Collier - Djesse Vol. 4
My favourite album of this year so far (and by a mile) is Imaginal Disk by Magdalena Bay, but I also want to mention MINISERIES 2 by SUMIN and Slom because I think it's super underrated!! It's R&B, Soul, and K-Pop. There's also Prece by Luiza Brina which is a pretty good folk album
My favourite song of the year is probably Cry for Me by Magdalena Bay, one of the best pop songs this year imo

Frog in Boiling Water album by DIIV, SEWING UP THEIR SKIN album by Murrumur, Colour in Composite EP by Eons Awake.
A Lonely Sinner album by samlrc, Belaya Polosa by Molchat Doma, and Dyad from Jamie Paige's Constant Companions album are also up there for me. A Lonely Sinner has some samples from Chirin's Bell. Maybe some hextube watchers will recognize them.
